Asmana’s Water World

At the heart of Asmana lies its Water World, an immersive wellness experience featuring indoor and outdoor pools maintained at a constant temperature between 35 and 37°C, ideal for relaxation in every season of the year. Surrounded by tropical palm trees, dramatic lighting, and the atmosphere of an exotic resort, the pools offer over 100 hydromassage stations, water circuits, and areas dedicated to complete relaxation.

Among the most popular experiences are the Vortice, a circular circuit with a continuous current that allows you to drift along with the water or walk against the current to gently stimulate circulation, and the saltwater pool, enriched with Mediterranean salt crystals and natural minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium, and iodine, ideal for promoting relaxation and skin wellness.

One of Asmana’s landmarks is the Grotta, winner of the 2017 Italian Pool Award, a national award recognizing the best projects in the swimming pool industry. This evocative space combines stone architecture, play of light, and a spectacular eight-meter-high waterfall. The circuit alternates between cold and hot water, drawing on the principles of the Kneipp method, with beneficial effects on circulation and muscle relaxation.

Since 2025, the circuit has been enhanced with La Giungla, a new wellness area that transports guests into a tropical forest at night. The highlights are the stone loungers with monsoon rain, an innovative hydromassage experience that recreates the sensation of tropical waterfalls through relaxing and rejuvenating water jets.

The World of Saunas at Asmana

After the Water World, Asmana’s wellness journey continues in the World of Saunas, a journey through different cultures and traditions where heat, scents, and multisensory rituals come together. Each space offers a unique experience, ranging from Eastern atmospheres to Nordic traditions, all the way to connections with the Tuscan region. Among the highlights is the Indian Sauna, one of the largest saunas in Italy, capable of accommodating about 120 people. With a temperature of 80°C, it takes guests on a journey through the Indian subcontinent thanks to its Eastern-inspired décor and dramatic lighting. The Herbal Sauna, at 70 °C, evokes ancient Nordic traditions.

More gentle is the Zen Sauna, a bio-sauna at 60°C with higher humidity, featuring a large glass wall overlooking the Grotta waterfall. The Wine Sauna, on the other hand, is a tribute to Tuscany: an 80°C sauna crafted from elements taken from authentic oak barrels used for aging wine. The natural scent of the wood blends with essential oils to create an experience that links wellness to the culture of the region.

Rounding out the experience is the Infrared Area, a gentler alternative to traditional saunas. Thanks to the heat from the infrared lamps, relaxation penetrates deeper into the muscles and joints, offering a wellness experience in a scenic setting with a view of the facility.

The Hammam

Next to the saunas is the Asmana Hammam, the largest in Western Europe—a space that evokes the atmosphere of *One Thousand and One Nights* and the ancient purification rituals of the Arab tradition. The experience alternates between steam baths, sensory rooms, the Salinarium, and the enchanting Foam Room, where the skin is enveloped in soft clouds of scented soap. Among the most exclusive experiences is the One Thousand and One Nights ritual, which combines Moroccan treatments such as black soap, a scrub with a Kessa glove, and natural products for a moment of authentic well-being.

Wellness Ceremonies

Rounding out the experience are the Wellness Ceremonies, included with admission to the facility, which transform the sauna, hammam, and relaxation areas into true sensory journeys. From sauna ceremonies using the Aufguss technique—where steam, music, and essential oils envelop the body—to Scrub Ceremonies featuring natural, seasonal ingredients, and Temple Ceremonies with Tibetan bells, incense, soothing sounds, and fragrances: each ritual is designed to promote physical and mental relaxation.

Summer in Asmana

During the summer months, Asmana transforms into a true tropical oasis. The large outdoor garden, with lounge chairs and seating included in the admission price and available without a reservation, lets you spend the day soaking up the sun and relaxing. The outdoor pools, the Vortice, the whirlpools, and the Tropical Pool Bar—where you can enjoy cocktails and fresh fruit smoothies right in the water—make the atmosphere even more pleasant on summer days. Even the Wellness Ceremonies take on a different rhythm compared to winter, while as the sun sets, the illuminated pools create a magical atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening.
