Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May sees the return of the great wine event in Tuscany's most beautiful cellars
Appointment in the wineries of the Tuscan Wine Tourism Movement on May 24 and 25 with one of the most iconic events in the wine world, Cantine Aperte. A weekend to be enjoyed among good wine, art, music and fun.
From a visit to the vineyards with an expert in Etruscan culture, to a picnic in the vineyard with the wineries' wine novelties, passing by country walks to discover the glimpses that characterize the vineyards in Tuscany, or hiking and cycling wine or theme parties, or even trekking in the vineyards. Lots of initiatives planned by the many participating wineries. From Montalcino to Bolgheri, from Val d'Orcia to Montepulciano, passing through Cortona, Arezzo and wine to Chianti or the Maremma. All of wine Tuscany will be in celebration over two days. Let's discover together the initiatives of the participating wineries.

Arezzo
Buccia Nera
Buccia Nera Winery offers a more intimate and educational experience titled “The Grape Varieties of Tuscany – 3 Glasses, One Story”.
The program includes a guided tour of the vineyards and winery followed by a tasting of three native wines:
Malvasia and Trebbiano
Ciliegiolo
Sangiovese
Tours are held in small groups on May 30 and 31 with three daily sessions (11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, 4:30 PM), lasting approximately 90 minutes. The tasting costs 15 euros, which increases to 30 euros with an accompanying cheese and charcuterie platter.
Tenuta di Frassineto
Tenuta di Frassineto is participating in Cantine Aperte only on Sunday, May 31, starting at 4:00 PM.
The experience is designed as a journey between tradition and innovation:
a guided tour of the vineyards, historic cellar, and barrel room
an in-depth look at the classic method and sparkling wine production
concluding with a picnic on the estate and a tasting of three wines paired with local specialties
The cost is 35 euros per person, with reduced rates for children and teens.
Tenuta La Pineta
Tenuta La Pineta presents an edition closely tied to contemporary art with the project “Selezioni & Identità”.
The program spans two days:

Villa La Ripa
Villa La Ripa opens its doors on Saturday, May 30, at 5:30 PM with an event dedicated to the intersection of wine and art.
On the program:
opening of the exhibition “KATHÉDRA, L’Anima del Vino” by artist Edmona
panoramic aperitif in the tasting room with a view of the vineyards
a glass of wine and typical Tuscan appetizers
The exhibition is created from organic materials used in winemaking, transformed into an artistic installation that reflects on the relationship between nature, matter, and spirituality.
Baldetti (Cortona)
Cantina Baldetti opens its doors for an edition dedicated to celebration and conviviality.
The event takes place on May 30 and 31 at the Pietraia estate (Cortona), with two distinct themes:
Saturday, May 30 (7:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
: an evening atmosphere with tastings at sunset, music, and DJ sets until late at night
Sunday, May 31 (11:00 AM – 12:00 AM)
: a full day of wine, food trucks, and musical entertainment
On both days, visitors can taste the winery’s wines accompanied by the Billis food truck. Admission is free, though reservations are required only for the special culinary offerings: Billis’Box on Saturday and Meat Sushi on Sunday.
Florence
Azienda Agricola Tamburini (Gambassi Terme)
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, the winery is hosting an event dedicated to Open Cellars with TambuGin, featuring tastings of the winery’s wines and a presentation of the new Tuscan gin “TambuGin.” The experience, priced at 30 euros per person, includes tastings and a discussion of the production process. Reservations are required.
Castelfalfi
On Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, the Castelfalfi Hiking & Wine experience returns, a guided tour through the village, nature, and vineyards. The route starts at the Wine Shop and passes through iconic sites such as the Church of San Floriano, the Rocca, and the Medici Garden, before continuing through vineyards and olive groves to a final tasting of three organic wines.

Castello di Querceto
In the heart of Chianti, Castello di Querceto opens its cellars on May 30 and 31 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The program includes guided tours and tastings in the estate’s historic cellars. The experience is free, but reservations are required.
DaVinum (Castelfiorentino)
On Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, the winery presents “DaVino a Davinum”, a food and wine journey through the cellar and barrel room.
The tour concludes with a three-course tasting, accompanied by cured meats and seasonal products.

Fattoria La Leccia (Montespertoli)
Fattoria La Leccia offers a multi-faceted experience titled “Discover, Taste, Create”, scheduled for May 30 and 31 from 12 PM to 7 PM.
Three itineraries guide visitors through nature, tasting, and creativity:
visit to the vineyard and sparkling wine cellar
guided tastings of wines, olive oil, and local products
art workshop combining painting and wine
Activities range from 5 to 25 euros depending on the itinerary.
Fattoria Lavacchio (Pontassieve)
On Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, Fattoria Lavacchio presents “Sorsi in Vigna”, an immersive experience among the vine rows. Visitors can choose tasting menus featuring 3 to 6 samples of organic and biodynamic wines, to be enjoyed outdoors next to the vineyard.
Cost: €12 to €18. Free admission with purchase of a tasting menu
Lamole di Lamole (Greve in Chianti)
At the highest point of Chianti Classico, Lamole di Lamole opens its doors on May 30 and 31 with the event “The Uniqueness of Lamole”. The program includes tours by reservation, guided tastings, and wine by the glass on the panoramic terrace. Cost: €15 to €35 per person
Tenuta Bossi – Marchesi Gondi (Pontassieve)
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Tenuta Bossi will host “Saperi e Sapori”, an event celebrating wine, crafts, and street food.
On the program:

craft market
picnic with food trucks in the orchard and olive grove
activities for children
Admission is free, while special tastings require a fee (25 euros).
Grosseto
Fattoria La Maliosa (Saturnia)
For Cantine Aperte 2026, Fattoria La Maliosa presents “Wine & Bike Maremma”, an experience combining slow tourism, nature, and wine tasting.
On May 30 and 31, participants can explore the Maremma by e-bike with local guides, passing through vineyards and scenic landscapes until reaching two local wineries: La Maliosa and Villa Acquaviva.

Tenuta Montauto (Manciano)
Tenuta Montauto is offering the “Taste and Chill” experience on May 30 and 31, a simple and convivial format dedicated to sharing wine.
The experience includes:

The project was created with the goal of making wine accessible and central to social gatherings.

Fattoria Acquaviva (Montemerano)
Fattoria Acquaviva is also participating in the popular “Wine & Bike Maremma” event, organized in collaboration with other local businesses.
The experience offers an e-bike tour through the vineyards and landscapes of the Maremma with two tasting stops, exploring local wines.

In the heart of the Etruscan Coast, Campo alle Comete offers a wide-ranging program for Cantine Aperte 2026 that combines tastings, immersive tours, and picnics among the vineyards.
Wine Travelers: Three itineraries through vineyards and wine glasses
On Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 3:00 PM, a guided tour through the vineyards and winery comes to life. Tastings include a selection of Bolgheri DOC and IGT wines, accompanied by Tuscan bread and the winery’s own extra virgin olive oil. There are three levels of experience: Traveler (2 IGT + 1 DOC) – 30 euros, Explorer (2 IGT + 2 DOC) – 40 euros, Pioneer (3 IGT + 2 DOC) – 50 euros. Reservations required.
Scorci & Sorsi: Wine and Territory
At 12:30 PM, the guided tour “Scorci & Sorsi” is scheduled, an experience combining a winery tour and tasting. Paired with the wines: a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, crostini with local pâté, and Tuscan bread with extra virgin olive oil

Picnic Among the Vines
Throughout the two days, you can enjoy a picnic experience with a special basket: a cold first course, a stuffed sandwich, dessert, and water. The picnic can be combined with a winery tour.

From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you can also enjoy open tastings by the glass or as a tasting menu, no reservation required.

For Cantine Aperte 2026, Azienda Agricola Castelvecchio is offering two days of tours and tastings in the heart of the Pisan hills.
The program includes guided tours of the winery at 11:00 AM, 3:30 PM, and 5:00 PM, with the option to choose between two tasting itineraries:
Classic Tasting: 3 wines, bread, and olive oil – 15 euros
Tasting with a Platter: 3 wines, bread, olive oil, cold cuts and cheeses, Vin Santo, and cantuccini – 30 euros

For Cantine Aperte 2026, Società Agricola Marini Giuseppe offers a program packed with activities combining wine, art, nature, and entertainment, with free admission and some experiences available by reservation.
Over the two days, visitors can take part in guided winery tours and tastings, as well as visit an art exhibition featuring works by Rossella Baldecchi and Franco Balleri.
Saturday, May 30
At 7:00 PM, “Profumo d’olio – a sensory experience” is scheduled, a program dedicated to extra virgin olive oil featuring a technical tasting and food pairings.

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, Tenuta Querciamatta presents “Wine Brunch & DJ Set”, an event combining gastronomy, music, and wine in the heart of the Pistoia countryside.
The brunch, curated by Dimora, takes place among vineyards and olive groves and includes:
a full brunch menu featuring local products
a glass of the estate’s wine

Fattoria di Bacchereto – Terre a Mano (Carmignano)
For Cantine Aperte 2026, Fattoria di Bacchereto offers an experience dedicated to discovering the region through the organic wine “Terre a Mano.”
Guided tours of the vineyard and winery with tastings are scheduled for Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, available at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM by reservation.
In addition to the tours, there will also be the workshop “Tasting the Territory”, a four-part journey that combines wine and cuisine to explore the connection to the land.

Podere Il Sassolo (Carmignano)
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Podere Il Sassolo opens its doors for a wine tourism experience featuring the winery, tastings, and local flavors. Tenuta di Artimino (Carmignano)
On Sunday, May 31, Tenuta di Artimino hosts Cantine Aperte in the garden of Villa Medicea La Ferdinanda, featuring wine, food trucks, and relaxation in the open air.
The event runs from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM and features:
Classic tastings (€15) with two glasses of your choice
Premium tastings (€20) with selected labels
jeep tours through the vineyards (€10 per person)

A €5 deposit is required for the glass.
Tenuta di Capezzana (Carmignano)
Also on Sunday, May 31, Tenuta di Capezzana offers a variety of activities including tastings, guided tours, and a wine bar.

For Cantine Aperte 2026, Camigliano offers three experiences dedicated to exploring the region and Brunello di Montalcino.
Among the scheduled activities:

Wine Tour: a guided tour of the winery and tasting in the castle’s ancient underground cellars

Campotondo (Campiglia d’Orcia)
In the heart of Val d’Orcia, Campotondo offers two immersive experiences combining nature and wine.
