The restaurants where you can have lunch in winter directly on the sea in Versilia

Magical places of sea and cuisine open now

Tuscany in the yellow zone at the weekend. What could be better than indulging in an excellent sea-flavoured lunch right on the beach, even in winter?
We are on the noble sands of Forte dei Marmi, a destination of charm and beauty of yesteryear, here our magic 5 of seafront dining.

Bistrot
Via della Repubblica, 14
0584.89879
A unique seafood experience. Open kitchen, elegant rooms with a design inspired by the colonial style and a cool summer dehors where you can enjoy your dishes while listening to jazz music. Exclusive private dinners can be booked in the cellar. Chef Andrea Mattei is in the kitchen.

Gilda
Via Arenile, 85 - 55042 Forte dei Marmi (LU)
0584 880397
From a historic family union, on the seafront of Forte dei Marmi, there is a restaurant on the sea not to be missed: a charming environment where you can enjoy a lunch with a view of the beach, enriched by the profiles of the tents and the glimpse of the sea on the horizon. Managed for 40 years by Mr. Tabarani and Mr. Di Giovanni, the restaurant's winning formula is its friendly family management. At the helm, Chef Sauro Antonioli, who has a three-starred background, has managed to revolutionise the cuisine with a thrust of modernity and experimentation.

Osteria del mare
Viale Franceschi, 4
0584 83661
Near the historic centre of Forte dei Marmi, next to a typical Versilia-style bathing establishment, we find this elegant restaurant. A cuisine with a taste of the sea, don't miss the tagliolini with red prawns, shelled clams and courgette flowers or the lobster salad with grilled lobster, crudités of vegetables, shellfish mayonnaise and orange sauce.

Pesce Baracca
Viale Franceschi, 2 - 55042 Forte Dei Marmi (LU)
0584 1716337
Pesce Baracca is not only a market and street but also a restaurant a few steps from the noble sands of Forte dei Marmi. It is a simple, immediate, informal restaurant, but it pays attention to the tradition of classic cuisine. There are first courses prepared with fresh homemade pasta, the inevitable spaghetti allo scoglio prepared according to the classic family recipe, handed down from generation to generation since the opening of the first restaurant in 1964. The restaurant's special feature is undoubtedly the possibility of choosing fish and shellfish directly from the fishmonger's counter.

The Fratellini's
Via della Repubblica, 2a
0584.82931
The Fratellini's is a unique place of its kind, born from the challenge of two brothers, David and Marco Vaiani, who have synergistically combined their passion for cooking to create a trendy and dynamic reality, bringing to the table works of art capable of triggering multi-sensory experiences. With this new adventure, a new concept of catering is born, offering you the possibility to freely choose how, what and when to eat and drink. Don't miss the excellent sushi, but also the raw fish and the excellent first courses.
