Fashion and charity in Florence from May 22 to 24 at the new Motel space

The Smile Market is coming to the Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence, a major charity event that from May 22 to 24 will bring life to one of the city’s iconic landmarks of urban regeneration. Three days dedicated to mindful shopping, featuring over 25,000 items of clothing and accessories and the participation of numerous volunteers.

The initiative offers the opportunity to shop at great prices while helping to support the projects of Smile Project odv in Eritrea, turning shopping into an act of solidarity.

The event was conceived by Elsa Michael, a former top model of the 1980s and now a manager active in the worlds of fashion and social causes, who has been carrying out charitable initiatives in her home country for over ten years. Her commitment translates into concrete actions such as the construction of orphanages, training schools for single mothers, and facilities dedicated to assisting people with disabilities.

Launched in Florence in 2021, the Smile Market is now in its tenth edition and will take place for the first time at the new Manifattura Tabacchi venue, following the success of previous editions at Stazione Leopolda and the Tepidarium del Roster, which drew thousands of visitors each time.

The event will be held at the Motel della Manifattura Tabacchi (Building B3) from May 22 to 24, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free.
