From 3 December 2013, at May 18, 2014 at the Galleria del Costume of Palazzo Pitti

The Costume Gallery of the Pitti Palace opens its doors to an accessory designed to not go unnoticed. This is the first exhibition dedicated to the hat , whose collections , heritage museum , granted by many donors , amount to more than a thousand units usually kept in storage , of which only a part will be devoted to the exhibition.

Despite prevailing specimens of known names of the fashion house such as Christian Dior , Givenchy, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, John Rocha , Prada, Gianfranco Ferre and international famous milliners of the present and the past like Philip Treacy , Stephen Jones , Caroline Reboux , Claude Saint- Cyr , Paulette , is also the first time that there are artifacts on display of millinery Italian and Florentine , some of which you barely knew existed. And here's the hat becomes a " work of art" , with its own aesthetic harmony which contribute the " sculptural shape ," the color component and refinement ornamental .
