From Tuesday, September 1, open enrollment to RUN LIFE, the event that brings together in a single day sports, culture and charity, to be held Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 in Florence. The initiative, now in its 13th edition and promoted by Associazione Onlus RUN LIFE, collects funds for initiatives nonprofit specializing in the care and rehabilitation support for women suffering from breast cancer.
You can choose to enroll in the course of 12.8 kilometers, or to 4.6 km, starting from Piazza Duomo and arriving in Piazza della Signoria, with routes through the streets of Florence defined along with Florence Marathon and possible thanks to volunteers LILT, Italian League for the Fight against Cancer, Florence section.
All participants will discover monuments, gardens, palaces and churches of Florence, many of them little known and open for the occasion, thanks to visitre guided by Hidden City Association and in the afternoon from 14 to 18, wearing the official shirt of RUN THE LIFE 2015 or showing regular certificate of registration, visit for free some of the major museums: Palazzo Strozzi and the exhibition Divine beauty of Van Gogh, Chagall and Fontana, Botanical Garden, Museum of Anthropology, the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum and the exhibition A palace and a city, Stibbert Museum, Museo Galileo, Gucci Museum. In addition, it will be offered reduced admission to the Museum of the twentieth century.
With a minimum donation of 10 Euros (15 Euros for the breastplate with chip) you will receive one of 35,000 T-shirts RUN LIFE fuchsia color offered by Salvatore Ferragamo.
