From November 1 to 4, the major showcase of French cinema in Italy. At the Odeon Cinema

Four days of screenings will alternate as many as 12 national premieres. Also this year the selection will represent the many souls of French cinema personalities and different generations of filmmakers, different styles and genres.

Among the captive, the film's opening Thursday, November 1 at 18:00 Vous n'avez encore rien vu of Alain Resnais, Confession d’un enfant du siècle of Sylvie Verheyde Friday, November 2 at 22.00 and Après mai of Olivier Assayas, in competition to latest edition of the Venice International Film Festival.

Saturday November 3, the Conference's Culture and Film Festivals, in the Palazzo Vecchio, with the participation of the heads of the most important film festival, in collaboration with Florens 2012 and homage to Claude Miller, one of the leading French authors' 900 recently deceased student and assistant of François Truffaut, with the premiere of his latest film Thérèse Desqueyroux starring Audrey Tautou.

France Odeon, directed by Francesco Ranieri Martinotti, celebrates its fourth edition and is part of the 50 days of international cinema in Florence (exhibition will run until December 14).
