Armando Poggi presents Giovanni Raspini’s collection dedicated to Florence

Pendants inspired by the city and handmade silver creations take center stage in the storefront on Via dei Calzaiuoli

The historic jewelry store Armando Poggi is celebrating spring 2026 with a special window display designed by Giovanni Raspini, the renowned brand that combines elegance, craftsmanship, and contemporary style. For the occasion, Raspini has created an exclusive collection of charms dedicated to Florence, designed specifically for the store on Via dei Calzaiuoli.

Giovanni Raspini per Armando Poggi

A longstanding symbol of excellence in the Florentine jewelry scene, Armando Poggi offers a unique experience for those seeking handcrafted jewelry in Florence that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. Giovanni Raspini’s creations stand out for their timeless beauty and the meticulous details crafted by hand by master Tuscan artisans. The brand’s motto, “Create beautiful things and let the world know”, encapsulates the essence of a production philosophy rooted in creativity and savoir-faire: each piece of jewelry begins as a sketch, takes shape in wax, and is transformed into silver through the lost-wax casting technique, an ancient process that guarantees uniqueness and quality.

Giovanni Raspini’s new Spring 2026 collection embodies a renewed elegance, blending freshness and contemporary style with a strong nod to its Tuscan artistic roots. Necklaces, bracelets, charms, and rings thus become everyday luxury accessories, designed to enhance every look with a distinctive, authentic, and refined touch.

The stars of this special edition are the charms dedicated to Florence: true micro-sculptures that celebrate the city’s identity through timeless symbols. Drawing inspiration from its most iconic works, the maison has created charms with a strong visual and narrative impact: Brunelleschi’s Dome, the Fiorino—a historic gold coin minted since 1252—the Lily, the city’s emblem linked to the iris flower, and Michelangelo’s David, available in both full-body and bust versions. Each creation is crafted in burnished silver and gold-plated silver, using the ancient lost-wax casting technique, the same one employed in classical and Renaissance statuary. A process that begins with Giovanni Raspini’s original design and takes shape through the meticulous work of the modelers, who hand-sculpt the wax model before casting and finishing.

This project comes at a significant moment for the Florentine fashion house: its 90-year history, a milestone that reflects a journey shaped by family, vision, and continuous evolution. On March 9, 1936, Armando Poggi opened his first store in the heart of the city. At first, it was just a single shop window. Then two. Then three. It was not merely commercial growth, but the expression of a clear vision: to select objects of authentic, aesthetic, and lasting value. In a Florence undergoing transformation, a landmark was thus born, destined to endure. Behind this name, in fact, there is a family. A constant presence that has spanned generations, maintaining a direct relationship with the customer. Not just a store, but a place where every choice is guided by experience, sensitivity, and connection: it is here that trust is built over time.

"I am proud to carry on the store that my grandfather Armando opened in 1936. Over these 90 years, we have grown, evolved, and transformed: from a small shop selling gifts and porcelain to one of Tuscany’s most iconic jewelry stores ,” says Andrea Poggi “Our secret? A love for beauty, truly listening to people, and the ability to reinvent ourselves while always remaining true to our identity.”

Today, Armando Poggi is opening a new chapter in its history, in part through the recent redesign of its space: a brighter, more minimalist, and contemporary setting, designed to showcase every creation while maintaining a connection to its roots.
