Bolgheri DiVino: the dinner of 1000 among the cypresses

A major event celebrates the enchantment of the village, its history and its wines with a day reserved for a parterre of envoys from all over the world

A table set at sunset along one kilometer of Bolgheri's Cypress Avenue for 1,000 guests. A plunge into the heart. It is the most spectacular event of Bolgheri DiVino that takes place, on September 4, to remind us of the importance of this territory where-for an adventurous interweaving of stories and families on which a novel could be written-were born, first of all, Sassicaia, an icon-wine, the bet of the Piedmontese Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta, and after him Masseto and other great labels. Wines that today celebrate the Bolgheri and Doc Bolgheri Sassicaia appellation in the world. The most glamorous dinner in the world, one of a kind. More than 300 wines tasted, more than 70 AIS Toscana sommeliers involved in the service.

In the presence of the major producers of Bolgheri including Albiera (president of the Consortium) with his father Piero Antinori, as well as the Frescobaldi stable with Lamberto and Ferdinando along with Giovanni Gaddes da Filicaia, Gaddo della Gherardesca, Maria Fittipaldi Menarini and the great oenologists, brothers Riccardo Renzo Cotarella.

The day ends, as we know, with the spectacular Dinner on the Avenue of Cypresses - an icon of the Bolgheri landscape - where 1,000 guests are welcomed at sunset by an amazing table over 1 km long divided into 10 tables of 100, surrounded by the cypress trees sung by Carducci.
