Christmas in Castelfalfi
From 6 to 8 December, three days of magic in the Tuscan village
Christmas lights up Castelfalfi. From 6 to 8 December, the enchanting medieval village nestled in the Tuscan hills transforms into a true winter wonderland, filled with sparkling lights, music, seasonal flavours and activities for the whole family. Three days of festivities, every day from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with free admission and a rich programme of events that make Castelfalfi one of the most magical Christmas destinations in the region.
The heart of the village will come alive with the Christmas Markets: wooden chalets, local artisans and unique handmade creations perfect for holiday gifts. Here you'll find hand-crafted decorations, art objects, regional products and gift ideas that capture the magic of a Tuscan Christmas.
Alongside the markets, the aroma of winter street food will fill the air: roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, steaming polenta and many other traditional specialities. It’s the perfect invitation to savour the authentic flavours of the season, from comforting dishes to local delicacies.
Throughout the weekend, Castelfalfi becomes an open-air stage. Live music, roaming performers and street shows will bring energy and joy to the narrow streets, lively squares and scenic corners of the village, offering delightful surprises for both adults and children. One of the most anticipated moments is the Living Advent Calendar, an interactive performance in the heart of the village that marks the countdown to Christmas in a poetic and original way.
Christmas in Castelfalfi is also designed with little ones in mind: children can visit Santa’s House, meet Santa Claus and deliver their letters in a magical, fairy-tale atmosphere. There will also be creative workshops, activities and entertainment for all ages, making every moment special and creating unforgettable family memories.
