Gucci brings Cruise 2026 collection runway show to Florence

Location unveiled for the fashion show celebrating the unbreakable bond between the fashion house and the lily city

Gucci returns to its roots and chooses Florence as the stage for the Cruise 2026 collection. The event will be held in the House Archives, housed in Palazzo Settimanni, in the heart of the Oltrarno, on May 15, 2025.

“Returning to Florence-and in particular to Palazzo Settimanni-is both a tribute and a statement of intent,” says Stefano Cantino, CEO of Gucci. “The Archive is not only the custodian of our past, but a dynamic space where Gucci's identity codes are interwoven and renewed through constantly evolving interpretations. Presenting the Cruise 2026 collection here means renewing the link with our cultural and artisanal roots, projecting them with coherence and ambition into the future.”

Archivio Gucci

Founded in Florence in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, the House thus reaffirms its deep connection with the city, where creativity, tradition and experimentation coexist. Florence continues to represent Gucci's identity heart: Palazzo Gucci, Gucci Osteria and Gucci Giardino are based here, in addition to the offices and production hubs of Casellina and Gucci ArtLab, places that testify to the Maison's deep connection with the territory.

In line with Gucci's constant commitment to enhancing places of cultural relevance and actively supporting the communities that inhabit them, on the occasion of the upcoming fashion show the Maison consolidates and renews its bond with the city of Florence, contributing to the Estate Fiorentina 2026 and the Cascine Park redevelopment project.

The last time Gucci walked the runway in Florence was May 29, 2017 with the presentation of the 2018 cruise at Palazzo Pitti in the Galleria Palatina, which had never before been used for a fashion show. HERE all the photos from the fashion show.
