In Florence, the exhibition WAW – Women At Work
The exhibition celebrating female forces is on view until June 15 at Palazzo Olivetti Rason
After its debut in Vinci on the occasion of International Women’s Day, WAW – Women At Work. Female Forces: Archetypes and Roles arrives in Florence with a group exhibition that shines a light on the female universe through the works of Italian and international women artists. The show is on view from May 16 to June 15 at Palazzo Olivetti Rason.

Through a variety of visual languages—including painting, sculpture, engraving, and drawing—the artworks challenge traditional female archetypes and offer new narratives that reflect the richness and plurality of women's lived experiences. Far from offering a single perspective, WAW brings together multiple voices: each artist – including Megan Baker, Debora Delmar, Claudia di Francesco, Cleo Fariselli, Brunilde Galeotti, Guadalupe Guillen, and Mane Zorraquìn – contributes unique stories, sensibilities, and cultural roots, shaping a powerful and collective tapestry.

The result is a compelling interplay of voices that confront stereotypes, embrace vulnerability, and reclaim agency. An artistic and social reflection that invites viewers to reconsider what it means to be a woman today, in a world still marked by inequality but increasingly shaped by new awareness and aspirations for change.
