Ristoro L'Antica Scuderia

May 31, 2023

Ristoro L'Antica Scuderia, an enchanted place surrounded by Tuscan nature

Warm and cosy atmospheres where you can feel pampered with good food and excellent wine

In the gentle scenery of the Chianti Classico hills, in a small medieval village, we find the Ristoro l'Antica Scuderia. The name anticipates that this was once a stable where riders stopped to rest and change horses. Now, thanks to careful restoration, it has become an elegant place where every detail has been taken care of.

The menu is harmonious and contemporary, following the rhythm of the seasons and focusing on the search for the best ingredients not only from Tuscany but from the territory. The preparations are impeccable even in their presentation, enhanced by a wine list that aligns the best of Italian and French labels.

One of the specialities is fresh pasta made by hand just like in the old days: from the thin, hand-rolled dough comes stuffed pasta shapes, tagliolini, pici, pappardelle that hold the sauces and pamper the palate. The steak cooked on the grill is also a must, and for those who don't want to give up pizza, they bake it in a wood-fired oven that brings out the fragrance of each dough.

A journey in search of perfection made up of simple gestures that the brigade repeats every day with passion and determination, experimenting with new combinations.
