All the names for a summer of music and entertainment

This summer in Florence and throughout Tuscany has been filled with bands, national singers and international stars. August also promises to be full of must-see shows and festivals, let's find out which ones and where together!

Concerts at Villa Bertelli (Forte dei Marmi)

The summer of 2026 at Villa Bertelli in Forte dei Marmi will feature a packed schedule of concerts and shows. The series kicks off on July 9 with Europe, followed by Il Volo on August 2. Also taking the stage in August will be Nek (August 5), Fiorella Mannoia (August 9), Madame (August 11), Litfiba (August 13), Luca Carboni (August 18), the Tina Turner tribute The Queen of Rock (August 19), and Sal Da Vinci (August 20). The series will conclude on September 1 with a performance by Enrico Brignano. Claudio Baglioni’s concert, originally scheduled for August 17, has been rescheduled for August 8, 2027.

La Versiliana Festival (Marina di Pietrasanta)

The La Versiliana Festival, in Marina di Pietrasanta, returns in the summer of 2026 with a packed schedule of music and performances. The festival kicks off on July 17 with a tribute to Morricone and continues through August 23 with many events: among the expected artists are t.A.T.u. (July 29), Ermal Meta (August 3), The Wall – Pink Floyd History Orchestra (August 6), Arisa (August 7), Noemi (August 10), K-Pop is coming (August 12), Patty Pravo (August 14), Mario Biondi (August 20), Levante (August 21), and Raf (August 22).

Puccini Festival (Torre del Lago)

The Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago returns with a program dedicated to great opera and tributes to the Tuscan composer. The festival features the most famous operas by Giacomo Puccini, including Turandot (July 17, 24, and August 1, 9), Tosca (July 18, 31, and August 8, 21), Madama Butterfly (August 7, 22, and September 4), La bohème (July 25, August 6 and 28) and La fanciulla del West (August 29 and September 5). In addition to the operas, the program includes concerts and special performances: from the documentary film Turandot, the Princess with a Heart of Ice (July 10) to the tribute to Morricone and Rota on July 11, and the Italian Navy Band Concert (July 12). And there are also performances by great artists such as Jonas Kaufmann (July 22), Eleonora Abbagnato (July 27), and Plácido Domingo (August 30) at the Gran Gala.

Festa del Cinema di Mare (Castiglione della Pescaia)

From August 25 to 30, the Festa del Cinema di Mare – Mauro Mancini Award / Guido Parigi Award returns to Castiglione della Pescaia. Directed by Giovanni Veronesi, the festival celebrates the connection between cinema and the sea. Now in its tenth edition, the event features screenings, panel discussions, music, and exhibitions with guests such as Luca Zingaretti, Valerio Mastandrea, and Claudia Gerini, as well as two short film competitions: the Mauro Mancini Award, for European films on the theme of the sea, and the Guido Parigi Award, dedicated to short films with a journalistic focus.

Mont'Alfonso sotto le stelle 2026 (Castelnuovo di Garfagnana)

The Mont’Alfonso sotto le stelle Festival, in Garfagnana, returns with a rich lineup of events featuring music, entertainment, and culture in the region’s most evocative locations, from the Mont’Alfonso Fortress to the Verrucole Fortress, all the way to Campocatino and the historic center of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. The festival kicks off on August 6 in San Romano in Garfagnana with the Gatti Mézzi and continues with Teenage Dream (August 7), the Williams Ensemble Symphony Orchestra (August 11), Marco Masini (August 16), La Sera dei Miracoli, a tribute to Lucio Dalla (August 18), Giorgio Panariello with E se domani (August 20), and the grand finale on August 21 featuring Federico Buffa and his show Number 23.

Follonica Summer Nights 2026

The Follonica Summer Nights 2026 festival brings music, entertainment, and culture to the city of Follonica, with events held at the Le Ferriere Open-Air Theater and Parco Centrale. The program kicks off on July 9 with Gabriele Puccetti and continues on July 23 with Paolo Crepet. In August, the spotlight turns to major live performances featuring Emma (August 4), Kid Yugi (August 7), K-Pop is coming (August 10), Jonathan Canini (August 11), Negramaro (August 12), and Teenage Dream (August 13).

Castiglioncello Festival 2026 (Castiglioncello)

The Armunia Castiglioncello Festival 2026 brings the Pasquini Castle in Castiglioncello to life from July 18 to August 22 with a rich lineup of music, theater, comedy, and live performances. Among the most anticipated events are Jonathan Canini (July 24), Fiorella Mannoia (August 7), Madame (August 12), Giorgio Panariello (August 17), Antonello Venditti (August 21), and Andrea Scanzi (August 22), along with artists such as Angelina Mango, Raf, Arisa, Claudio Baglioni, Federico Buffa, and the show The Queen of Rock – Tribute to Tina Turner. Also on the program are La Traviata (July 18), an evening of contemporary jazz (July 31), and the show Cin Cin La (August 19).

Summer Knights Pisa 2026

The summer of 2026 in Pisa comes alive with a packed schedule of concerts and shows featuring big names in Italian and international music. The festival kicks off on July 15 with Alessandro Mannarino and continues with Deep Purple (July 16), Teenage Dream (July 17), Emma (July 18), Giorgio Panariello (July 20), Max Angioni (July 21), Coez (July 22), Giorgia (July 23), Tony Pitony (July 24), and the grand finale on July 26 featuring Skunk Anansie.

BargaJazz Festival 2026 (Barga)

The BargaJazz Festival 2026 celebrates its 40th anniversary with a rich program of concerts and events from July 19 to August 30 in Barga, the Garfagnana, and the Serchio Valley. The festival will bring jazz music to the region’s most picturesque villages, featuring concerts, exhibitions, and special events. Among the main events is the traditional Jazz Orchestra Arrangement and Composition Competition at the Teatro dei Differenti on August 21 and 22, dedicated to the music of Stevie Wonder and featuring harmonica player Grégoire Maret. On July 30, a special event featuring an ensemble led by Nicolao Valiensi is scheduled at the Gardens of the Casa Pascoli Museum, while on August 29, Maestro Bruno Tommaso’s Jazz Requiem Mass project will be presented. The grand finale takes place on August 30 with Barga IN Jazz, an event that will transform the historic center into a grand stage featuring musicians from Italian universities and jazz conservatories.
