A gala night with live music and gourmet cuisine to celebrate the New Year

The golden reflections that illuminate the grand entrance hall tell a story that began in 1922. The soft blue hues of the furnishings echo the Tuscan sea, with its endless shades. It is here that the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio brings New Year’s Eve 2025 to life—an icon of Italian hospitality that for over a century has embodied the elegance of elite seaside holidays.

Fully renovated in keeping with its Art Déco soul, the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte is ready to welcome the new year with an exclusive evening inspired by the timeless allure of La Dolce Vita.

A glamorous New Year’s Eve of music and haute cuisine

Champagne, a gala evening and a signature dinner: New Year’s Eve in La Dolce Vita style promises an immersive experience, where cinematic dreams meet the most authentic Italian refinement. The historic Liberty-style salons become the perfect setting for a night of pure charme, filled with soft lighting, Fellini-inspired atmospheres and exquisitely curated details.

At the heart of the gala dinner is Executive Chef Giuseppe Mancino, who signs an exceptional gastronomic journey designed to guide guests through a sensory voyage of Italian excellence and contemporary inspiration. The New Year’s Eve gala menu includes: table-served canapés; Amur Beluga caviar with blinis and sour cream; Balik salmon with Greek yogurt, beetroot gel and osmosis radishes; lobster “Catalan-style” with gazpacho and winter fruit; hand-cut Chianina beef tartare with marrow and grilled lettuce; Carnaroli risotto with langoustine, coral and champagne sauce; Wagyu beef with foie gras and truffle potato; chocolate with whisky caramel, coffee and mascarpone; Mont Blanc; assorted petits fours; grapes and mandarins; and the traditional cotechino with lentils. The price is €350.00 per person, wines excluded.

The evening comes alive thanks to a refined entertainment programme that blends art, music and magic. Guiding guests through the universe of La Dolce Vita is the magnetic Ilaria Della Bidia, with an intense and evocative performance. Live music, illusionism and a DJ set set the rhythm of the night, transforming New Year’s Eve into an elegant and engaging experience—designed for those who wish to welcome the new year in a truly memorable way. Dress code: Fellini-inspired black tie.
