Paradis Agricole, an oasis of authenticity and beauty on the outskirts of Pietrasanta
A corner of Tuscany where agriculture, art, hospitality and sustainability come together in a unique project
Between the Apuan Alps and the sea, nestled in a pastoral tranquility broken only by the sounds of nature and the rhythm of the land, lies a small universe suspended between dream and reality: Paradis Agricole. Just a few kilometers from the lively centers of Pietrasanta and Marina di Pietrasanta, this place thrives as an oasis of authenticity and beauty, where agriculture, art, hospitality, and sustainability come together in a truly one-of-a-kind project.
Paradis AgricoleThis Tuscan paradise bears the signature of Alain Cirelli, a French chef of Italian descent and former apprentice to culinary masters such as Carlo Cracco and Riccardo Monco at the renowned Enoteca Pinchiorri. After a distinguished career in fine dining, Alain chose the Versilia hills as the place to put down roots, together with his partner Laurent. From this life choice first came Paradis, a boutique hotel in the heart of Pietrasanta, followed by Paradis Agricole—not just an organic farm and agriturismo, but a living laboratory of taste, nature, and culture.
Alain Cirelli insieme al Principe Alberto II di MonacoLed by a close-knit, multidisciplinary team, Paradis Agricole is a certified organic farm committed to sustainable, circular production with an exceptionally low environmental impact. The numbers speak for themselves: 4,000 square meters of greenhouse gardens, more than 60 varieties of vegetables, fruit orchards with native trees, historic olive groves cultivated biodynamically, free-range animals, and beehives cared for with natural methods. Everything is powered by solar energy systems and independent water wells, in a proudly carbon-free vision.
Paradis AgricoleThe 18th-century farmhouse, elegantly restored with deep respect for its surroundings, offers seven refined rooms and two garden dependances surrounded by greenery. Each space tells its own story through flower-inspired names, natural materials, and artworks personally selected by Cirelli. Adding to the charm of the stay is the cuisine of Cristina Merli, who calls herself a “country cook.” She transforms the farm’s garden and courtyard ingredients into surprising, plant-forward, seasonal dishes. From savory cabbage soufflés to lemon chicken and desserts made with the farm’s yogurt and honey, every bite is a journey through simplicity and mastery.
Paradis AgricoleParadis Agricole is more than just an agriturismo — it’s also a cultural and social hub. The large glass-and-steel greenhouses, inspired by 19th-century tepidariums, serve as event spaces and gypsotheques for meetings, weddings, and exhibitions. Prestigious brands such as Mercedes and Ferrari, as well as renowned chefs like Carlo Cracco, have already graced these spaces. The farm also promotes educational programs and collaborations with local schools, embracing a model of open and community-based agriculture.
Le SerreIn the small wooden farm shop, easily reachable by bike from Via Pisanica, visitors can purchase the estate’s finest products: local honey, jams, vegetable creams, sauces, and above all, extra-virgin olive oil made from Tuscan cultivars and the rare Quercetana olive, also available in elegant gift formats.
Paradis Agricole is not just a place to visit — it’s a way of living and seeing the world: with slowness, respect, and wonder. A corner of Tuscany that has chosen to cultivate beauty in all its forms.
