Uffizi: the most visited museum in Italy in 2014

Great success for the Polo Fiorentino: second place in the national rankings at the Galleria dell'Accademia

A successful 2014 for the Florence museums: visitors were 5583259, + 6.25%. And the Uffizi Gallery, with 1,935,901 visitors remains the most visited museum in Italy. Note that - despite Sunday with free admission inauguratesi last July - during the year, have grown both visitors fee (+ 3.21%), and those entered for free (+ 12.37%), making still grow the gross receipts of 6.97% and 7.06% of the net.
In detail, the Uffizi Gallery, with 1,935,901 visitors, remains the most visited museum in Italy (an increase compared to 2013 amounted to 3.48%) and in all likelihood - if we relate the total number of visitors to the museum area available - the most heavily visited in the world.
In second place among the most visited museums in Italy, we find the Accademia Gallery with 1,335,741 visitors increased by 6.47% the result of 2013.
Another positive trend of visitor flows to the Pitti Palace and Boboli
