Biennale Enogastronomica 2018

The great event dedicated to the excellence of taste coming from all over Italy

Back in Florence the Food and Wine Biennial, meeting point for food lovers, wine lovers and operators of the sector, from Friday 16 November to Monday 19 November at the Fortezza da Basso, with Leonardo Romanelli Artistic Director.

A route that goes from tasting to guided tasting, to meeting with the single producer, to understand who and what is behind that single product and what distinguishes it from others that can be found on the market.

Among the focal points is the Arsenal Pavilion, with 150 exhibitors including wine and food products.

There are also many activities, such as the live laboratory of special flavors of ice cream, by the Bolgheri Gelato Experience, the public speaking on sake curated by Firenze Sake, the photographic preparation "La Bistecca puts on show", edited by the journalist Marco Gemelli and Trattoria Dall'Oste, and "Eyes Wine Shot", the wine as you have never heard of it, the fun theatrical show by La Tognazza dedicated to wine.

Among the novelties, the Table Chef, where to go to try the experience of a great starred restaurant, with names such as Antonello Sardi (Bottega del Buon Caffè *), Gaetano Trovato (Arnolfo **), Riccardo Monco and Alessandro della Tommasina (Enoteca Pinchiorri ***), Luciano Zazzeri (La Pineta), Peter Brunel (BSJ *), Beatrice Segoni (Konnubio) and Andrea Mattei (Borgo Santo Pietro *); but also the lunch and dinner spot in Piazza della Pizza, where there will be 4 resident pizzerias - Pizzaman, Simbiosi, Bianca 00 and Gustarium, or the excellence of Made in Florence pizza - but also the mixology / bar area with the best Barman of AIBES.
