Every year on 24 June, Florence comes alive with symbols and tradition to celebrate the Feast of St John, the city’s patron saint. It is a festival that blends history, identity and spectacle, culminating in the famous fireworks that light up the Arno and the historic centre.

In this unique setting, the viewpoint changes everything. And for the evening of 24 June, Cosimo Rooftop offers an experience that transforms the city into a private spectacle: a dinner suspended between sky and history, with a 360-degree view of Florence, from which to enjoy the show.

From 6.30 pm, Cosimo Rooftop welcomes guests into an elegant and contemporary setting, designed to accompany the sunset right through to the evening’s most eagerly awaited moment: the San Giovanni fireworks display. The rooftop’s panoramic location offers a privileged view of the city, transforming every table into an exclusive vantage point. Florence unfolds before the guests’ eyes, amidst domes, historic palaces and the reflection of lights that begin to set the scene for the fireworks.

Guests are welcomed with a glass of Ruinart Champagne, accompanied by oysters and Calvisius caviar. A signature entrée designed to introduce the evening in a sensory and celebratory way, blending ritual and excellence. Following this welcome, the focus shifts to the cuisine and the view of the city, whilst the dining offering remains à la carte, designed to highlight the freedom of choice, seasonality and contemporary identity of the menu.
