The new Executive Chef Marco Migliorati arrives at the restaurant on the sixth floor of The Westin Excelsior Florence
Marco Migliorati, born in 1988, is the new Executive Chef of Se.Sto on Arno Rooftop Bar and Restaurant. His signature? Balanced, contemporary dishes with an international taste. At his side, Luca Tempestini who takes the place of Migliorati as Sous Chef.

Always passionate about cooking, Chef Migliorati grows up in the kitchen area and after graduating from the historic Florentine institute of restoration and hospitality "Buontalenti", he begins his career at some important Tuscan restaurants including Enoteca Pinchiorri, Ora d'Aria , Fusion Bar Art and Gallery and Salvatino Luxury Hotel, together with masters of the caliber of Marco Stabile.

Since 2015 he has held the position of Sous Chef at Se.sto on Arno, where he perfects his talent, accompanying first the Chef Entiana Osmenzeza and then Matteo Lorenzini, with whom he refines an elegant and essential, creative and international range of cuisine. without ever leaving the great school of tradition.
A kitchen that reflects the aesthetics of the environment, with two large panoramic terraces and a design inspired by the Sixties and immense windows, warm and colorful interiors enriched by wooden floors and ceilings, and a curved bar made of wood and retro alabaster illuminated, with bronze-colored steel inserts. His recipes are born from raw materials of the highest quality, assembled with passion and precision and enriched by a multi-ethnic twist, but always connected to the territory and local cuisine, so as to offer a harmonic and whimsical menu.

Among the exclusive Marco Migliorati paper dishes stand out: rabbit and rosemary tagliatelle, cream of leeks and black truffles, braised pork cheeks and soft cried polenta. From the dessert menu we recommend Bignè craquelin with lemongrass, caramel and banana ice cream. The Tasting Menu consists of a selection of the five best seasonal dishes at the discretion of our Executive Chef and is available from € 120, excluding wines.
