A rich calendar for Florence's symbolic place, the Duomo. Saturday 24 December at 5.00 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass in English; 6.00 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass; 11.00 p.m. Christmas Vigil and 12.00 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass, presided over by the Cardinal Archbishop. Sunday, 25 December Christmas of the Lord Holy Masses at 9 a.m., 12 noon and 6 p.m.; 10.30 a.m. Holy Mass, presided over by the Cardinal Archbishop, and 5.15 p.m. Sung Vespers.
The monumental complex is open to the faithful for the celebration of Holy Masses. A midnight Holy Mass is scheduled for Saturday 24 December. The basilica opens to the faithful at 11.15 p.m. for confessions and the Vigil. Sunday 25 December (Christmas), Holy Mass at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and Monday 26 December (Boxing Day) Holy Mass at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The oldest church in Florence on Sunday 25 December will have a mass at 8.30 am, one at 10 am, one at 11.30 am and one at 5.30 pm. The 5.30 pm celebration is in Latin and in Gregorian chant.

In the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella on Saturday 24 December at 11.45 p.m. there will be a Christmas Eve Mass.

CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA DEL CARMINE
In the Oltrarno district, you can choose the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine for Christmas Mass on Sunday 25 December at 10 a.m., 12 noon and 6 p.m.

BASILICA OF SANTO SPIRITO
There are many Christmas events in the Basilica of Santo Spirito. On Saturday 24 December, mass will be held at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. and at 5.30 p.m. the singing of vespers. On Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December, mass is held at 9.00 am, 10.30 am and 6.00 pm.
