Pucci torna a sfilare a Firenze

The défilé is held May 4 at the Rowing Society in the city where the Maison was founded in 1947 by Marquis Emilio Pucci

A year and a half after her debut as Pucci's creative director, Camille Miceli decided to show her new collection in Florence on May 4. A tribute to the Maison's founder, Marquis Emilio Pucci.

Camille Miceli already with previous fashion events organized to present the new collection had chosen places symbolic of Marquis Pucci. Her first collection was presented in April 2022 with a two-day program on the island of Capri, where the designer had opened his first boutique there. While in December the second event had included a three-day event in St. Moritz, where the Pucci x Fusalp skiwear collection was unveiled. This new collection, titled Initials E.P., also pays homage to the renowned designer by "exploring the roots of the maison with a fresh style."

Florence has always been linked to the history of the Puccis; in the city there is the beautiful family palace, where the brand's iconic models, prints and design objects have been kept inside for several years. Finally, for the past few months, the Ied has expanded its headquarters, choosing Palazzo Pucci N6.

Just yesterday under the porticos of Palazzo Pucci, Laudomia Pucci was named the first Honorary Consul General of Japan in Florence, with the appointment received directly from Japan's Ambassador to Italy Satochi Suzuki, visiting with his wife in a beautiful traditional kimono.
