Villa Cora is set in a centuries-old park overlooking the Boboli Gardens, on the hills just outside Florence's historic centre. An aristocratic residence built in the late nineteenth century by the architect Pietro Comparini, characterized by the great decorative eclecticism typical of the time. Inaugurated during the period when Florence was the capital of the Kingdom of Italy, over time it became one of the major social and cultural symbols of Florence, hosting international personalities. It became an exclusive Grand Hotel in the late 1960s and since 2016 has been part of the prestigious collection of The Leading Hotels of the World. The Le Bistrot Restaurant and the sumptuous Le Bar Long are always available, while during the summer you can also spend time at the Pool Bar and on the Bellevue Roof Terrace. New this year is the poolside happy hour from 5.30-6.30 pm at a cost of 80 euro with a drink included. The pool restaurant is open for extra services from 13:00 to 17:00 for lunch or a snack.
