The most beautiful swimming pools in Florence

The corners of blue not to be missed in the city

A dip in the blue with a view of Brunelleschi's dome, or immersed in ancient parks. In Florence, even a day by the pool becomes something truly special.

A historic palace designed at the end of the 15th century and a former 17th century convent commissioned by the family of Baron Luigi Del Nero, with a church inside with a cross-vaulted ceiling frescoed with a marvellous starry sky and a park, the famous Giardino della Gherardesca, home to centuries-old plants and ancient statues, already known in the 15th century as one of the most beautiful in Florence. An urban resort in the heart of the historic centre, the pride of one of the most important companies in the world of haute hôtellerie. Inside, there is the Il Palagio restaurant, with the new executive chef Paolo Lavezzini, as well as the elegant Atrium Bar and, in fine weather, the Trattoria al Fresco and the La Magnolia gastrobar. Not to be missed is the famous brunch, which involves the entire ground floor of the hotel, including the kitchen, open for the occasion to all diners, who can thus see the chefs at work. Immersed in the park, there is also the exclusive Spa. The swimming pool is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
