A historical palace designed at the end of the 15th century and a former 17th-century convent commissioned by the family of Baron Luigi Del Nero, with inside a church with a cross-vaulted ceiling frescoed with a marvellous starry sky and a park, the famous Giardino della Gherardesca, guardian of centuries-old plants and ancient statues, known as early as the 15th century as one of the most beautiful in Florence. An urban resort in the heart of the city centre, the flagship of one of the most important companies in the world of haute hôtellerie. Inside is the Il Palagio restaurant, with the new executive chef Paolo Lavezzini, as well as the elegant Atrium Bar and, in fine weather, the Trattoria al Fresco and the La Magnolia gastrobar. Not to be missed is the famous brunch, which involves the entire ground floor of the hotel, including the kitchen, open for the occasion to all diners, who in this way can see the chefs at work. Also immersed in the park is the exclusive Spa. At the moment, the hotel's swimming pool is also accessible to outside guests who book a spa treatment, subject to availability.

Villa Cora stands in a centuries-old park overlooking the Boboli Gardens, in the hills just outside the historical centre of Florence. An aristocratic residence built at the end of the 19th century by architect Pietro Comparini, characterised by the great decorative eclecticism typical of the time. Inaugurated during Florence as capital of the Kingdom of Italy, over time it became one of the major social and cultural symbols of Florence, hosting international personalities. It became an exclusive Grand Hotel in the late 1960s and since 2016 has been part of the prestigious collection of The Leading Hotels of the World. The Le Bistrot Restaurant, the sumptuous Le Bar Long, the Santa Garden Cocktail Club and the elegant Spa are available to guests and non-hotel guests alike. While the swimming pool is reserved for hotel guests to allow ample space and maximum privacy.

The swimming pool is also open to the outdoors, and from Monday to Friday it costs €65 (choice of two courses and dessert), while for dinner it costs €90 per person (starter, first course, main course and dessert); and for the weekend it costs €90 for both lunch and dinner. They do not take reservations well in advance, but only the morning or at the latest the evening before.
