UNOAERRE Celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Armando Poggi, a Historic Florentine Jewelry Store

From October 20 to November 4, a special window display on Via Calzaiuoli celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Arezzo-based brand and Armando Poggi’s 90th birthday, featuring a selection of jewelry and the exclusive Giglio Capsule Collection

One hundred years of Italian jewelry craftsmanship meet ninety years of Florentine commercial history. In 2026, UNOAERRE will celebrate its centennial with a special initiative in collaboration with Armando Poggi, a historic jewelry store in the heart of Florence. From October 20 to November 4, the store on Via Calzaiuoli will host an exhibition dedicated to the Arezzo-based brand’s creations, featuring a selection of jewelry and the Giglio di Firenze Capsule Collection, created exclusively by UNOAERRE for Armando Poggi.

The collaboration brings together two Tuscan brands united by a passion for goldsmithing, meticulous craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret jewelry in harmony with contemporary tastes.

UNOAERRE Celebrates 100 Years Since Armando Poggi

UNOAERRE: 100 Years of Italian Jewelry Making

Founded in Arezzo in 1926, UNOAERRE is one of the historic names in Italian jewelry making. Over the course of a century, the brand has built its identity through the tradition of goldsmithing, stylistic innovation, and a focus on evolving tastes, while preserving a legacy of expertise and manufacturing culture. This centennial marks a significant milestone for a company that has spanned generations and weathered industry transformations, maintaining a strong connection to its origins while continuing to experiment with contemporary forms and design languages. It is a journey that blends experience and creativity, with pieces designed to accompany important moments and become part of the personal stories of those who wear them.

Armando Poggi: 90 Years of History in the Heart of Florence

The story of Armando Poggi began on March 9, 1936, with the opening of its first store on Via Calzaiuoli, in the historic center of Florence. A single storefront facing the street marked the beginning of a business destined to weather nearly a century of change. The jewelry store has weathered the city’s transformations, overcoming difficult times such as the war and the 1966 flood. From the porcelain and crystal of its early days, the selection has gradually expanded to include contemporary jewelry, while maintaining a focus on careful product selection and strong customer relationships. Today, ninety years after its opening, three generations of the same family have helped carry on the business, strengthening Armando Poggi’s ties to Florence’s commercial fabric. This journey finds a new point of convergence with UNOAERRE, united by their shared Tuscan roots.

The “Capsule Giglio di Firenze” Collection, Created Exclusively for Armando Poggi

From October 20 to November 4, the Armando Poggi jewelry store will showcase a selection of UNOAERRE creations, available for customers to discover and purchase directly in-store. Among the highlights of the event is the “Capsule Giglio di Firenze” collection, created by the Arezzo-based brand exclusively for the historic Florentine jewelry store. The collection pays homage to Florence through the lily, the city’s symbol, translating its identity into a line of jewelry that highlights the connection to the region.

This project combines UNOAERRE’s expertise in goldsmithing with Armando Poggi’s long-standing presence in the heart of the Tuscan capital, celebrating two important anniversaries through a collaboration that honors tradition without sacrificing a contemporary sensibility.
