59th edition of the Iris International Competition
The garden is open from April 25 to May 20 but the iris does not begin to bloom, usually before the second week of May. From 8 to 13 May 2017 the annual International Competition of Iris. Not to be missed!
Morocco Trophy - May 1 - Piazza della Signoria

Spring flower market and flower market - until May 1 - Garden of the Horticulture
Until 1 May, from 9 am to 7 pm at the Garden of Horticulture in Florence (Entrance from Via Vittorio Emanuele II, 4 and Via Bolognese 17) to the Spring Market Exhibition of plants and flowers organized by the Tuscan Society of Horticulture.
Entry is free. There will be 50 of the best Tuscan growers and not only.
