Wired Next Fest in Florence

On 17-18 September, the Wired festival is unleashed in Florence! Find out who will participate...

On 17 and 18 September, do not miss the Wired Next Fest is the largest Italian festival dedicated to innovation that celebrates and tells the science, technology, business, the web as a key element for economic development, cultural and social of our country.

Starring will be lectures, workshops, art performances, exhibitions of national and international importance. All on record, but with free admission. To register, click here!

The chosen theme is Beauty. Not only artistic and aesthetic, but as a cultural element, as a driver of change.

Florence will become a real square on digital, a meeting place and comparison with other Italian and foreign institutions, which will alternate between the stage of the Salone dei Cinquecento and the Sala d'Arme in Palazzo Vecchio. Another star of the event will be the location of the Guelph palace, which will become the nerve center of workshops and laboratories.

Will be more than 100 speakers who will speak from around the world, including: the Mayor of Florence Dario Nardella, Evgeny Morozov - writer and theorist of new media; Luciano Floridi - Information philosopher, Professor of Philosophy and Information Ethics at Oxford University, Research Director of the Oxford Internet Institute; the director Luca Guadagnino; Alice Rawsthorn - designer, writer and columnist for the NYTimes; Zerocalcare - illustrator; Massimo Bottura - the best chef of the world according to the 2016 ranking of the "50 Best Restaurant" Joris Evers - Netflix vice president; Antonio Campo Dall'Orto - general manager Rai; the actor Pierfrancesco Favino and songwriter musician Devendra Banhart.
