Giotto Firenze is the byword for leather and excellence. How have you kept a clear focus since 1980?
With the teachings and passion handed down by my father, Gabriele Mangani, who has always developed the brand by closely following the traditional expertise of our Florentine craftsmen.
Clothing, footwear and accessories: which product is your favourite, and why is that the case?
To name one, I would say footwear. We take pride in its quality, comfort and uniqueness.
Your idea of quality?
I believe that the word quality is always closely linked to the word passion.
In my work and when constructing our creations, this concept is the ultimate goal we achieve through a process that starts by selecting the best leathers and accessories, and develops in the quest for the item’s uniqueness, right up to its production, strictly following the tradition of our Florentine craftsmen.
What is the Giotto Firenze must-have for this winter?
I would say, without hesitation, that our Giotto winter ankle boots, for both men and women, are a must-have item for elegance, comfort and beauty.
Three passions that describe you.
Being from Florence, I cannot help but have a passion for football as well as for music. But if I had to choose one passion over the others, I would say the mountains, especially in winter, as I love skiing.

Certainly Ponte Vecchio and the Boboli Gardens. This city is so beautiful that I am proud to say I am a Florentine.
