Giovanni Pratesi, antiques dealer since 1960, has his shop housed in Palazzo Ridolfi, in one of Florence’s major antiques’ streets. He has been president of the Italian Association of Antiques Dealers since 1995 and secretary-general of Florence’s International Antiques Biennale since 2001. Art collector and patron of the arts, he has supported and sponsored the restoration of many paintings, sculptures and public monuments, such as the Serristori Chapel in Figiline Valdarno and the monument to Anatolio Demidoff in Piazza Demidoff in Florence, besides having made many donations to Florentine museums.
