Autumn flavors at Borgo San Jacopo

The restaurant with a beautiful view of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio renews its gourmet proposal for autumn. Discover the new tasting menu dinner!

Attractive location on the Arno and Ponte Vecchio, privileged place to enjoy the city in an elegant and romantic environment, the Gourmet Restaurant Borgo San Jacopo, part of the Lungarno Collection,is a place not to be missed located in the heart of Florentine Oltrarno.

In the kitchen, Executive Chef Peter Brunel signature proposals animated by a strong creativity to amaze the eyes and the palate.

For dinner, the offer is declined now in three tasting menus: alongside "Variation on the theme potato" and "My Tuscany" adds the new "His majesty white truffle" where the main ingredient - the truffle - becomes protagonist of 5 course all to savor. An example? The "cream of potato blown, egg, capers and white truffle".

These proposals are accompanied by the a la carte menu, which follows the rhythm of mother nature: here wins the freshness with the already iconic "Carnaroli rice cabbage, trout eggs and black truffle" and "Braised with sweet wine, topinambur , smoked chestnuts, mountain chicory ".

And last but not least, the dessert menu signed by the chef pastry Loretta Fanella who immediately caught the invitation of Peter Brunel to create desserts inspired by the season just started. "Scents of Autumn", "Sweet Hazel" and "Winter tiramisu" are just some of the desserts that offer Loretta, true stories that develop within a plate.

Do not miss the festival of culinary themed dinners "SPOON, Chef (starred) to spoon" scheduled every month to Borgo San Jacopo with the participation of important chefs Italian. Next meeting, on November 30 with Chef Pino Cuttaia, 2 stars Michelin, restaurant La Madia in Licata.
