Best restaurants open for lunch during the week in Zona Gialla

Tuscany in the yellow zone. We tell you where you should book a nice lunch in the most beautiful corners of Florence

Good news for those who love the flavors of an unparalleled cuisine, that of restaurants in Florence: until Saturday, January 23 Tuscany will continue to be yellow zone.

So at least for lunch we can go and savor our favorite dishes, the consumption is allowed to a maximum of 4 people per table, if not cohabiting.

But which are the best restaurants in Florence open for our lunches in the city? Let's start with our overview.

DIQUADDARNO
Atrium Bar

055 26261
In the magic of the Four Seasons Florence, under the guidance of chef Vito Mollica, one of the two temples of taste signed Vito Mollica: the Atrium Bar, his elegant bar and lounge with an international mood, with an à la carte menu that changes every week. Open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for breakfast, lunch and aperitifs for both guests and outsiders. Take-away every day for lunch and dinner, and at weekends also with "Brunch at your place".

Buca dell'orafo
055 213619
Just a few metres from the Uffizi, one of the smallest buca's in Florence, open since 1945. If you order the ribollita, Sangiovannese stew and fried chicken, rabbit and artichokes you won't regret it, but the real cults are the artichoke pie and the pork arista with potatoes.

Cantinetta Antinori
055 292234
Since 1957, the Cantinetta Antinori has been one of Florence's most renowned places for wine and cuisine. Choose cecina with squid and prawns, ossobuco di vitella alla fiorentina or pappardelle with Tuscan ragout. There is no need to mention the wines on offer, which you should definitely try.

Cibreo Restaurant
055 234 1100

In the heart of the Sant'Ambrogio district, headed by Fabio Picchi, a true cult place of an ancient Florence that loves elegantly authentic flavours. Next to the historic restaurant, the legendary Caffè Cibreo, run by his son Giulio Picchi, a bistro where you can delight in a cuisine full of selected Florentine and Tuscan products, from breakfast to lunch.

Colle Bereto Lounge Bar
055 283156
In an exceptional location, in front of Palazzo Strozzi, the cultural destination of contemporary Florence. A place where you can experience the city from morning to night. In the incomparable outdoor dehor, a wide selection of culinary excellence, from breakfast to lunch.

Harry's Bar
055 239 6700

A place that tells 50 years of Florentine history, better than any other. During the week, for lunch, interesting vegetarian and celiac proposals. A word of advice: don't leave without having tasted the historic Bellini cocktail, to accompany the equally legendary carpaccio.

Ora d'Aria
055 2001699
This is the famous home of Michelin-starred chef Marco Stabile. A new challenge for the lunch formula: it is called Ora d'Aria Lab and offers a lighter menu that does not renounce extreme quality, with a Tuscan matrix but with inspiration from all over the world.

Osteria delle Tre Panche
055 287216
When it comes to truffles, this is a place you must try. Don't miss the new location with a view of the monuments at the Hotel Hermitage, in Vicolo Marzio, 1 near the Ponte Vecchio, with a terrace offering a splendid view. The historic location in Via Pacinotti is closed.

Se-Sto on Arno (Westin Excelsior)
055 27151

On the sixth floor of The Westin Excelsior, it offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the city. A word of advice? Choose table 41, with a view of the Arno right in front of the Duomo.

Trattoria dei 13 Gobbi
055 284015

Specialties of the house are the incomparable rigatoni served in the glass tureen and the inevitable cut of beef served on the log, called "tagliatona".

OLTRARNO

Enoteca Fuori Porta
Surrounded by the fairytale atmosphere of the San Niccolò district, a wine bar known to all Florentines: the protagonist is tradition, from good wine to the classic crostoni, cheeses and cured meats from our land.

The Holy Drinker
055 211264
In the heart of the Oltrarno. A restaurant that combines the style of an aristocratic Florence with refined and youthful elegance. Don't miss the terrine of chicken livers with Vin Santo and pan brioche or the beef tartare with crispy vegetables. The menu also includes dishes for celiacs and vegetarians.

La Bottega del Buon Caffè
055 5535677
The restaurant's philosophy is to serve tasty, well-presented dishes made with the best 0 km ingredients in a stimulating and relaxing atmosphere. It proposes an innovative gastronomic experience called 'Orto da gustare' whereby customers can enjoy the freshest ingredients grown in the restaurant's gardens. One Michelin star.

Momoyama
055 291840
The most renowned Japanese restaurant in Florence. A journey to the Japanese flavours of Momoyama, in the heart of the Oltrarno district. The raw cuisine directed by Gabriel Camara offers traditional Japanese classics. Chef Lorenzo d'Agnello's cooked Japanese cuisine is also excellent.

Osteria Belguardo
055 2654541
An unmissable restaurant overlooking the Arno that bears the name of the Mazzei family business. The ambience is not that of a trattoria, but the spirit remains that of healthy, well-executed local cuisine with quality choices.

OUTSIDE THE CENTRE
Coquinairus Fiesole

055 597 8356
Coquinarius is on the hill that rises from Florence to Fiesole and from Fiesole down to Florence, a place where cuisine meets and is inextricably linked with wine.
Here the tradition of hand-rolled pasta and the lightness of a creative gamble that is always an enjoyable discovery are mixed together.
