Concerts not to be missed in Florence and Tuscany in Summer 2021

The great return of live music has finally arrived. Here is our top list of unmissable concerts

It has to be said that we have been missing a lot of music. In order not to miss anything of what awaits us in Florence and Tuscany in this great summer full of hope, here are our live performances not to be missed.

JUNE

Florence

An unprecedented public success for Ultimo, the Roman singer-songwriter who will be at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on 16, 17 June and 4 August.
Between June and July the appointments continue with the 83rd Festival of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, one of the most important opera festivals in Europe. At the Teatro del Maggio, from 4 to 19 June, Verdi's La forza del destino directed by Zubin Mehta will be on stage.

Il Buono Il Brutto Ed Il Cattivo, Mission, La Leggenda Del Pianista Sull'oceano, C'era Una Volta Il West, Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, Per Un Pugno Di Dollari, The Hateful Eight, C'era Una Volta In America, Per Qualche Dollaro In Piu', Malena... The extraordinary masterpieces of Ennio Morricone, a giant of music of all times, in the show The Legend of Morricone, on 23 June at the Teatro Romano in Fiesole. The same location for Vasco Brondi, on stage on 30 June for Estate Fiesolana.

There is a magical place in the Florentine hills that this summer will offer the chance to do some of the things we have missed so much this very long year, and do it in total safety. We're talking about the Villa Medicea di Lilliano wine estate and its wonderful summer offer of culinary experiences en plein air, musical aperitifs and open-air cinema. On 19 June, the Etruscan Bloom Festival preview concert in the Villa's marvellous park with violin star Dan Zhu is a must. Tickets on sale at www.ticketone.it and at box office outlets.
