Ermanno Scervino at the end-of-year ceremony at Istitutivo Marangoni Firenze
The students of the fashion school in via de' Tornabuoni present an award to their brand ambassador for his commitment to education and luxury craftsmanship
Istituto Marangoni Firenze, the fashion school inaugurated five years ago at 17 Via de' Tornabuoni, announces its end-of-year ceremony scheduled for Thursday 8 July 2021 at the Fondazione Zeffirelli. For the occasion, the students will present a recognition award to the famous Florentine designer Ermanno Scervino, their brand ambassador. Ermanno Scervino has always been sensitive to the training of young people in the field of fashion and fine textile craftsmanship, an interest that has also extended to the Florentine branch of the Marangoni Institute, which was set up with the intention of teaching students from all over the world the secrets of the art and luxury craftsmanship present in Tuscany, and in particular in the Florence district, of which Ermanno Scervino is the most internationally renowned representative.
The long-standing collaboration between Ermanno Scervino and Istituto Marangoni Firenze has already been celebrated in a movie, in which the beauty of the Tuscan landscape, where the company is based, and Via Tornabuoni Firenze, where the school is located, are a source of inspiration for the future designers, who are reaching their first milestone this year.
