Florence's “Made in Tuscany” Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary with a Special Event at the Church of Santo Stefano al Ponte

Eighty covers, nearly 20,000 pages, and hundreds of interviews: Gruppo Editoriale’s city magazine celebrates twenty years of Florentine stories, personalities, and excellence with the publication of Firenze Made in Tuscany. The Book

Firenze Made in Tuscany is celebrating twenty years in business with a special event held at the Church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, in the heart of Florence. The event was dedicated to celebrating the journey of the city magazine published by Gruppo Editoriale, which for years has been chronicling the city’s key figures, points of excellence, and transformations, helping to highlight its cultural identity and international appeal.

The event brought together representatives from institutions, hotel and museum directors, and prominent figures from the worlds of culture, hospitality, and business for an evening of networking and sharing dedicated to one of the publications that chronicles Florence and its surrounding area. Among the guests was international actor Jeff Goldblum, while the evening was hosted by actress and writer Chiara Francini, who wore a beautiful gown by Scervino.

The main sponsor of the evening was Fani Gioielli. The celebrations were also made possible with the support of Toscana Promozione, Coda Nera, Guido Guidi, and Antinori—organizations that help pay tribute to a publishing project deeply rooted in the region and its outstanding achievements.

“Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Firenze Made in Tuscany means recognizing the value of a perspective that, over time, has accompanied the city, chronicling its key figures, its excellence, and its transformations. Chronicling a city for twenty years means observing it consistently, recognizing its changes, giving voice to the people who shape it, and preserving a memory that helps us understand its present,” said the mayor of Florence, Sara Funaro.

Eugenio Giani, president of the Tuscany Region, added: “For those like me who have a deep, daily connection to Florence and have always studied its roots and changes, flipping through the pages of this book means reliving a piece of our collective identity”.

Matteo Parigi Bini and Alex Vittorio Lana, editors of Firenze Made in Tuscany: “The twentieth anniversary represents an important milestone for us, but above all, it is an incentive to look ahead, with ever-renewed curiosity and a growing focus on contemporary Florence, its key figures, and the transformations it is undergoing. We want to thank the city that has accompanied us over these twenty years, all the people who have believed in our project, those who have allowed us into their world, entrusted us with a memory, shared a story, or a part of their own Florence”.
