Wednesday, July 20 Achille Lauro as you've never seen him before, accompanied by his band and a 52-piece ensemble, the Electric Orchestra: a completely new show, from the arrangements to the costumes, an evolution of everything we've seen so far.

With Form Sarajevo, on Friday July 22nd Goran Bregovic will transform into music the many souls of the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina: there will be three solo violins, played according to the classical western, klezmer and eastern traditions. There will also be the Wedding and Funeral Band, orchestra, gypsy wind ensemble and choir of Bulgarian voices.

From Pink Floyd to Zeppelin, great rock hits performed in symphonic key for Rock The Opera vol. 2, the concert that on Saturday July 23rd will see on the same stage the Orchestra della Toscana and the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Friedemann Riehle.

To all Genesis fans: don't miss the appointment with Steve Hackett, on Monday 25th July, always on the stage of Piazza Santissima Annunziata. The legendary guitarist will arrive as part of Seconds out + more, a tour that features Seconds Out, one of the greatest hits of the Genesis album.

VISITS

Before the shows you can visit free of charge gardens, places of worship and monumental buildings adjacent to Piazza della Santissima Annunziata.

And again, as part of Musart afternoon concerts, photo exhibitions, music films, an itinerary through places and spaces that have made the history of live music in Florence and other initiatives, mostly free admission.

CONCERT PROGRAM IN THE CLOISTER OF THE ISTITUTO DEGLI INNOCENTI

The performances in the Piazza della Santissima Annunziata are in fact joined by concerts in the Cortile degli Uomini, a magnificent cloister of the Istituto degli Innocenti designed by Filippo Brunelleschi in the 15th century. Perfect context to exalt of singer-songwriters such as Tommaso Novi, who on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, opens the festival by unveiling songs from his new album Terzino fuorigioco, the former Gatti Mézzi's most complete and mature work, driven by tracks such as Area, Molto bello and Io sapevo nuotare.

Highly anticipated is Frida Bollani Magoni's concert on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. A pure, precious, unique talent, Frida is one of the most mature and surprising artists on the international scene. Her web performances go viral, and her debut album Primo Tour, released a few days ago, has definitely imposed her on the general public.

Almost a passing of the baton with Nada, who on Thursday, July 14, 2022, again in the Cortile degli Uomini of the Istituto degli Innocenti, brings a sort of "best of" her repertoire.

On Tuesday, July 26, at 4:45 p.m., it will be pianist Dado Moroni's dawn concert that will bring the curtain down on Musart Festival.

Performances start at 9:15 p.m., tickets available online at the official website musartfestival.it
