Saranno Famosi nel Vino at Stazione Leopolda
On 3 and 4 December, the first edition of the talent show for emerging wines in collaboration with AIS Toscana
A showcase for more than 200 “young” labels; a talent show for emerging wines, taking place on 3 and 4 December at Stazione Leopolda in Florence. The first edition of Saranno Famosi nel Vino promises to be a major event to promote and publicise wines created in the past five years by producers operating for less than ten years, organised by a group of Siena wine entrepreneurs in collaboration with AIS Toscana. The latter - with a total of 4,300 registered members and the prestige gained by the high-level training it provides and for the quality of its Scuola Concorsi, which has helped to shape numerous Italian champion sommeliers over the years, and even a world champion - plays a more crucial role than ever in this wine-based event.By offering beginners’ courses and wine tours, but mainly as a partner in a unique experience which gives new arrivals the direction they need to “become famous”. Through one-to-one meetings with Italy’s top sommeliers, photographic sets, interviews with wine influencers and dedicated tasting sessions. Furthermore, at the same event AIS Toscana will present Eccellenza di Toscana, a project that turns the tasting experience into a guide to the region, with screenings and information about local areas covering the entirety of Tuscan wine production. But above all is the AIS Vitae 2023 Guide, an opportunity to welcome our newnational president Sandro Camilli, who will be on site to meet sommeliers and producers, and personally present certificates to wineries awarded 4 Viti.

Saranno Famosi nel Vino is designed to revolutionise the world of wine; an event with a new format that aims to change approaches to oenology and literally place bottles on the catwalk. The target is the new connoisseur or wine expert who’s in the mood for exploring. In other words, anyone wishing to discover oenological gems as yet unknown - this event offers an opportunity to learn something new, for wine lovers and producers alike
