Solidarity and Haute Cuisine: Il Borro hosts 'Under Good Stars' in support of Meyer Hospital

On 29 May, in the enchanted setting of Valdarno Superiore, a dinner with 17 top chefs for a charitable cause

Taste meets solidarity under the Tuscan sky. Next 29 May, Il Borro Relais & Châteaux - the diffused hotel and organic farm owned by the Ferragamo family - opens its doors to the charity event ‘Under the Good Stars’, organised in collaboration with Chefs for Life in support of the Meyer Hospital Foundation of Florence.

Taking part in this special evening will be 17 great chefs from the Italian panorama, including Chicco and Bobo Cerea, Vito Mollica, Loretta Fanella, Alberto Quadrio, Philippe Léveillé and Andrea Campani, Executive Chef of Il Borro. Together, they will sign a dinner for several hands in a journey of flavours, creativity and sharing, combining their skills to support a common cause: the wellbeing of children.

The evening programme

  • Welcome aperitif, to start the sensory experience among the hills and vineyards of Valdarno.

  • Gourmet dinner, with dishes created in synergy by guest chefs, an expression of Italian gastronomic excellence.

  • Charity auction, to raise funds for the Meyer Children's Hospital.

  • Final party, a ‘third half’ where the chefs will join the guests to celebrate the value of solidarity together.

Conceived by Diego Toscani and Ljubica Komlenic, the Chefs for Life project was born with the aim of transforming the culinary art into an instrument of social commitment, bringing concrete help to health and solidarity realities through events that combine taste and generosity.

Always guided by a vision of all-round sustainability, Il Borro is not only an excellence in hospitality and organic food, but also a company attentive to the social value of its work. In 2024, it signed the Manifesto ‘Businesses for People and Society’ of the UN Global Compact Network Italy, reinforcing its commitment to a responsible and generative model.

Sotto delle Buone Stelle fits perfectly into this vision: a moment when beauty, goodness and talent are put at the service of the common good, because even a dish can become a gesture of love.
