Start the 2nd edition of Cannes a Firenze

From 18 to 26 June, Spazio Alfieri

After just three weeks from the great film event, arriving in Florence an exclusive selection of 11 films from the 68th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

To usher in this season of Summer Fiorentina, in fact, the Cannes a Firenze France Odeon, from 18 to 26 June. The films will all be in their original version with subtitles in Italian and will be screened at the Spazio Alfieri (Via dell'Ulivo, 6).

Here for you the program of screenings:

Thursday 18
19.00: to inaugurate the event, with Hrutar (Rams), the Icelandic director Grimur Hakonarson (Prix Un Certain Regard), the story of two brothers who raise sheep together but that does not speak for years
21.00: Les cowboys, Thomas Bidegain, a story set in the East of France of a father who is not resigned to the disappearance of 16 year old daughter

Friday 19
18.30: the Camera d'Or this year, La tierra y la sombra, the Colombian Césare Augusto Acevedo. The story of a family of laborers forced by poverty to accept the unhealthy conditions of the sugar cane harvest
20.30: Much Loved the Moroccan film, of Nabyl Ayouch, the tale of the dark side of a city like Marrakech, poised between tradition and strict rules of moral and loose morals brought by Western civilization.

Saturday 20
19.45: Umimachi diary (Our little siste), Hirokazu Kore-Eda
