Teatro Verdi, entire 2022-2023 season

All the new dates to mark in your diary between ballets and performances

The Teatro Verdi's 2022/2023 season features 27 titles spread over 68 evenings. There are many new features including an Off Verdi subscription at the Fiesole Theatre with a 300-seat hall. Various subscription options for new and old fans will be available for purchase exclusively at the theatre box office. For individual shows, on the other hand, it will be possible to purchase them both on site, online and in all boxofficetoscana sales outlets. But let's see the whole season in detail:

  • Following the 21 October opening concert of ORT (orchestra della Toscana), will be on stage Gigi d’Alessio for his concert on Sunday 23.

  • On Wednesday 26,rerun on 27, 29 and 30 October (and then on November 22) Giorgio Panariello will act in La favola mia.

  • For the pop-Rock Jazz- World, James Taylor on October 31.

  • One of the musical must, Mamma Mia, is at Teatro Verdi from November 2 to November 6 and there will be on stage Luca Ward, Clayton Norcross, Sergio Muniz, Sabrina Marciano with the direction of Massimo Romeo Piparo.

  • Remaining in the musical area, on November 12 and 13, Alice in Wonderland.

  • On Friday November 18 is the turn of ORT and the classic concert of the director Dmitry Matvienko who is going to direct Julia Hagen at the cello.

  • Another big concert on the 26 and 27 November: on stage Venditti and De Gregori.

  • Going back to ORT, will be on stage on November 30 the director Thomas Guggeis together with Claire Hunagci at the piano. Dedicated to the children, on December 3, there will be the shows Pupazzo di neve.

  • From 1 to 4 December Napoletano?...E famme ‘na pizza!, the Vincenzo Salemme show.

    Subsequently, the concerts of Massimo Ranieri, Marco Masini and Daniele Silvestri respectively on the 5, 6 and 7 December.

  • On December 8 Alessandro Cattelan is on stage with his show Salutava sempre.

  • Going back to the concerts on December 10 Jack Savoretti in his Europiana tour and on the 11 Umberto Tozzi in his Gloria forever tour.

  • On December 17 and 18 another classic of musical, A Christmas carol, with the direction and choreographies of Fabrizio Angelini.

  • Different day, different artist: Elisa will be at Teatro Verdi on 21 and 22 December.

  • During Christmas holidays on stage the orchestra director Daniele Rusticoni together with Francesca Dego at the cello (24 December) and Paolo Ruffini in his show Paolo Ruffini & Friends (26 December).

  • To conclude the year, on December 27, the Balletto di Milano dance show Lo Schiaccianoci (The Nutcracker) and on December 29 (until January 4) the show with Diana del Bufalo and Baz 7 brides for 7 brothers.

  • To start the 2023 the ORT new year’s eve’s classic concert on January 1.

  • Ale & Franz will be on stage from 6 to 8 January with their show Comincium.

  • Speaking of classic music and ballet will perform on 12 and 13 January, respectively, the director Mario Brunello at the cello and the Classical Russian Ballet company in La bella addormentata (The sleeping beauty).

  • On January 14 Elio, the singer of the group Elio e le storie tese, sings and acts Enzo Jannacci in Ci vuole orecchio.

  • For the prose, from 19 to 22 January there will be Quasi Amici (Intouchables), the show with Massimo Ghini and Paolo Ruffini.

  • ORT will be again on stage on 25 January with the director Yutaka Sado while on 2 February there will be Tianyi Lu and Kian Soltani respectively at the direction and at the cello.

  • From 27 to 29 January Chiara Norchese brings on stage the musical Pretty Woman.

    February continues with Arturo Brachetti’s show, Solo, from 3 to 5 February and with the ORT show for children and families, Alice, on the 11.

  • On February 12, Christian Ginepro will stage the musical Vlad Dracula while from 17 to 19 Red Canzian will perform in the musical Casanova Opera Pop.

  • For the Carnival concert of the 21 February ORT will be performing again but this time with the direction of Diego Ceretta and, at the cello, Giuseppe Gibboni. The day after, the concert of Venditti & De Gregori Tour.

  • On the 27 February Alessandro Siani will perform in his show Extra libertà.

  • March starts with another ORT concert directed by Michele Spotti on the 8while from 10 to 12 March the musical Legally Blonde, la rivincita delle bionde.

  • Another day with ORT, on the 16 March at the piano will perform Alessio Bax and the direction is entrusted to Gemma New.

  • On March 18 and 19 on stage there is the Sal da Vinci’s musical, La fabbrica dei sogni, while on 25 and 26 the one of the Compagnia della Rancia, Grease the musical. On the 20 March, instead, Queens Extravanganza concert.

  • For the ballet will perform on stage, on the 28 March, the dancers of Balletto di Roma with Carola Puddu in Giulietta e Romeo (Romeo and Juliet); the day after is the turn of ORT directed by Andrew Litton and at the piano Alessandro Taverna and, to conclude the month, on the 30, the musical Wizard of Oz.

  • On the 7 and 20 April two ORT concerts: the first one directed by Alvetina Ioffe and at the cello Anna Tifu; the second one directed by Daniel Cohen and at the piano Alexander Gadjiev.

  • April ends on the 30 with the concert of Joe Satriani tour, Earth Tour 2022/2023.

  • May starts on the 4 with the ORT concert directed by Vincenzo Milletarì and it continues with the musical Tutti parlano di Jamie by Giancarlo Commare and the one of Sandro Querci Il gatto in cantina respectively from 5 to 7 May and from 12 to 14 May.

  • Monday, May 15 is on stage for his concert Niccolò Fabi while Tuesday, May 23 again ORT with the direction of Andrea Battistoni.

  • Thursday, Ocotber 19 and Sunday, October 22 there will be the postponed shows from 2022: Francesco Renga’s concert and Pio e Amedeo show Felicissimo Show.
