Saturday, May 17, 2014 he returned to Florence " The Night of Museums " extraordinary initiative with museums and cultural spaces open to the public in the evening and with so many events including art, music, dance, theater, cinema, reading, guided tours.

Here's the schedule :

The Museums of Florence proposes the opening night - from 19 to 23 - five museums, a circle and three villas. In particular, you can visit: the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia Gallery, the National Museum of the Bargello, the Museum of San Marco and the Palace Museum Alessandra. In all five museums entrance will be at the symbolic price of one euro.
Instead it will be free access to the Last Supper by Andrea del Sarto, and in three Medici villas - La Petraia, Poggio a Caiano and Cerreto Guidi - who have just celebrated their entry into the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Of note, finally, that the Museum Opificio delle Pietre Dure (Via Alfani 78, Firenze) will be open for entrance to the symbolic price of one euro, from 20 to 24. 

Night of notes in gipsoteca . The Plaster Cast Gallery of the Art Institute of Florence has the most interesting collection of plaster models in Italy , especially models of the art of the Florentine Renaissance . The largest group comes from the purchase, in 1922 , by the then director Mario Salvini, the collection of Lelli Oronzio . Free tours from 20.30 - 23.30. Last visit was 23.00. Free musical performances of piano, strings and woodwinds .

On the occasion of the Night of the Museums of Florence Natural History Museum opens : Anthropology and Ethnology - Via del Proconsolo 12 - Florence - Free admission . Zoology " The Observatory " - Via Romana 17 - Florence - free entrance . Show Crystals - Via Romana 17 - Florence - Reduced admission € 3, up to 23 hours

Night at the Museum Salvatore Ferragamo Museum is open from 19.30 to 23.00 with input reduced to € 4.00.

Free opening of the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio.
Free access to the Museum from h18 to h24 ( no reservation required )
Free access to the walkway (at the base of the Tower of Arnolfo ) from h18 to h24 - inputs every thirty minutes with reservations required (last accessed h23.30 )
