The worth seeing Christmas markets in Tuscany

Let's find out together where to go to find villages, stalls, and Santa's cottages

FLORENCE AND SURROUNDINGS

  • The big news this year is the winter village set up in the gardens of the Fortezza da Basso, the Florence Ice Village. In addition to the longest ice skating rink in Europe, the event brings to Florence a large Ferris wheel 55 meters high. From December 4 to 24 also, throughout the area of the gardens of the fortress, there are the stands of the Christmas markets with many delicacies and original gift ideas.

SIENA AND SURROUNDINGS

  • In Montepulciano until January 6 back to the Christmas event with The Christmas Village, with a large market with characteristic wooden houses, and Santa Claus Castle set up inside the medieval fortress of Montepulciano.

LUCCA AND SURROUNDINGS

  • Until December 19 there is the eighth edition of Christmas Fair in Forte dei Marmi. In Piazza Garibaldi and adjacent streets many ideas for decorating and furnishing the house, games for children, Christmas jewelry, and many proposals for Christmas gifts, both craft and commercial.
