Alessandro Dari

Alessandro Dari is a Florentine Master Goldsmith, sculptor and classical guitar musician and holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Studies: an all-round artist whose family history stretches back almost 400 years. Indeed, the first Dari goldsmith’s shop was opened by Aldebrando Dari in 1630. Amongst his many achievements, the Master was the first to have combined anatomy and architecture to the world of contemporary jewellerymaking. His most recent pieces are characterized by a trend he calls Dinamismo Percettivo, or Perceptual Dynamism: a concrete dynamism, influenced by reflections on the rapport that the works themselves have with form and time, and which takes inspiration from Michelangelo’s non finito works, bringing to life complex creations that invoke a sentimental dialogue with the observer.
