Piselli Balzano are among the few European antiques dealers and art collectors specializing in the textiles field because of their deep interest in fabrics. Many fabrics from their collection have been purchased by major international museums, such as the Bargello Museum of Florence and the Swiss Foundation Abegg Stiftung, which boasts one of the world’s most important ancient textile collections. Today, Paolo Balzano carries on the business established by his mother Mirella in 1967 with the same passion and professional competence, with an emphasis on the finding of ancient textiles.
