Tessilarte was founded in 1947 as a weaving mill that produced household linen by hand. Over seventy years have gone by and the old looms are not working anymore, but they still testify to ancient practices and the name “Tessilarte” is still associated with unmistakable style. The company’s current creator and designer is the architect Paola Martinetti Graziano. Tessilarte’s list of customers includes elegant household linen stores in Italy and abroad. The items are all truly special, passionately handmade by skilled Florentine craftsmen who use only made-in-Italy fabrics. Items “custom-made” to blend in with the context in which they are placed, becoming precious design objects.
