From vineyard trekking to sunset concerts: all the events to celebrate the stars with wine
Following the success of Cantine Aperte (Open Cellars) and the start of Vigneti Aperti (Open Vineyards), the numerous seasonal events promoted by the Tuscan Wine Tourism Movement continue, filling Italy's vineyards and piazzas with magic and festive moments with Calici di Stelle 2022. The event, organised by MTV and the National Association of Wine Cities, will be an opportunity to walk among the rows of vines in the moonlight and to experience the villages and squares with the starry sky as a backdrop, always in the company of a good glass of wine. In Tuscany, a rich calendar of appointments in various wineries throughout the territory from 29 July to 15 August.
Eno-Astronomy is the theme of this edition of Calici di Stelle, and indeed it is the celestial bodies that will dictate the rich calendar of wine events (available online at www.mtvtoscana.com).

7.00 pm arrival at the C.S. Pietraia n. 38B (GPS coordinates GPS 43.175788 N 11.977469 E ).
Here you will be greeted with a "Welcome Toast" with our Rosato di Syrah -Arengario Toscana IGT.
This will be followed by a guided tour of the cellar by the owner Romano Antonioli, a passionate winemaker.
During the visit, the various stages of production will be illustrated, all seasoned with historical-cultural insights into the magical world of wine.
20:00, you can sit at the tables set up for dinner and start tasting our wines paired with the menu which includes:
• Rich appetizer of Tuscan delicacies.
• Cold pasta and/or rice salad.
• Tronchetto of wild pork with a side of mixed salad.
• Cantucci with almonds and chocolate.
The evening will be enlivened by musical accompaniment.
11.30 pm Closing of the event.
The individual participation fee for the event is €30.00.
For children aged 5 to 11 the fee is €15.00.
For organizational reasons, we suggest booking by 4.00 pm on Friday 11 August 2023.
In case of bad weather, dinner will be held indoors in our tasting room.
During the event, the wines we produce can be purchased with a 10% discount on the cellar price list.

On the occasion of the Goblets of Stars of the Wine Tourism Movement, the nights of 5 and 6 August will be the perfect moment to observe one of "The most beautiful skies in Italy" at our company, immersed in the Tuscan Maremma. The experts of Astronomitaly, the first astro tourism project in Italy, will guide us in an astronomical orientation session through the main constellations present in the summer sky and then continue with the observation of celestial bodies through their telescopes, focusing above all on the stories of the constellations with animal names/shapes. Guests will be welcomed at 20.00, with a voucher for the tasting of 3 glasses of the wines produced in our company and a box with typical Maremma products will be delivered.
