The Peck shop in Forte dei Marmi is preparing for the Christmas festivities with a new winter menu ideal for celebrating Christmas with family and friends and toasting the New Year together with a selection of niche wines ideal for accompanying the most delicious holiday dishes. 

The historic delicatessen, which was founded in 1883 and will be 140 years old next year, brings all the great classics to Versilia. Let's discover together those to buy or give as gifts to amaze those we love with excellent, high-quality products.

Don't miss the Premium Box Peck with Krug grand cuvée 170ème édition 75 Cl and Parmigiano Reggiano Vacca Bianca Modenese. Since 1843, Krug Grand cuvée 170ème édition has been the ultimate expression of Champagne accompanied by another excellence: Parmigiano Reggiano made exclusively from the milk of the Modenese white cow, a Slow Food Presidium, the pride of a company that has been producing just one wheel a day since 2009. In Peck's rich showcase there is no shortage of the sweet symbol of Christmas, the Panettone that the haute gastronomy brand proposes in the most classic version, but also in five variants: all are distinguished by the quality of their dough, obtained thanks to a 72-hour processing time, and by the use of highly selected ingredients, including flour with stone-ground wheat germ, vanilla berries of Madagascar Bourbon quality, fresh candied orange peel with fine Tuscan acacia honey.

Peck also brings to the Forte a selection of labels from the most prestigious wineries, with magnum and double magnum bottles of the best vintages for toasting during the festive season. Proposals of the highest level, allowing a real journey through the excellence of Italian wine, with a special tribute reserved for Tuscany with Masseto Tenuta dell'Ornellaia and Solaia Marchese Antinori. But there is also plenty of Piedmont with Gaja's Sorì Tildin and Roberto Conterno's Barolo Riserva Monfortino, as well as Trentino with the Brut Giulio Ferrari Riserva. Of course, there is no shortage of Champagne: special attention is reserved for France with some extremely rare and prestigious labels such as Château Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Latour.

Another flagship not to be missed is the Peck pâté: high quality choice meat, butter, natural flavourings, and years of experience make up this delicacy that has always been handcrafted with patience and meticulousness, to delight your tables during the winter season. Perfect as an appetiser, served on warm toasted bread croutons, perhaps with a few slivers of white truffle.

The most popular specialities are tagliatelle and tagliolini, but there are also many other stuffed pasta delicacies, such as the renowned ravioli and tortellini; available in the classic spinach and ricotta or stuffed with high-quality meat, as well as many other seasonal variations such as those with wild salmon, octopus and gorgonzola and pears. Then there are capons stuffed with meat and chestnuts, Peck caviar, anchovy fillets from the Cantabrian Sea and the not-to-be-missed Russian salad. A veritable riot of fresh, mouth-watering produce.

All Christmas and New Year's Eve menus can be booked and picked up directly in the shop or delivered to homes throughout Forte dei Marmi.
The shop is open until 8 January 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. On 24 December from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 31 December from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed on Mondays and 25-26 December and 1 January.
It will reopen next April.
