The event was well attended, in addition to the competing athletes, by loyal frequenters of the club and outside guests including VIPs including Paolo Bertolucci, Italian tennis excellence of the 1970s, who spoke at the awards ceremony together with Starhotels President and CEO Elisabetta Fabri and was interviewed for the occasion by sports journalist and former tennis player Ubaldo Scanagatta.
112 participants in the tournament played 54 matches for an impressive 85 hours and 770 games played on the club's courts. Victory went for Women's Tennis doubles to Martina Fanciullacci & Stefania Giovannini; in second place was Francesca Capecchi & Eleonora Parducci.
