Vito Mollica: the return to Florence

The Michelin-starred chef opens his new Chic Nonna restaurant in Palazzo Portinari in March 022

Chef Vito Mollica, for many years at the helm of one of the most important starred restaurants in Tuscany, is returning to Florence with a new project that will see the light of day in March 2022.
The Chic Nonna di Vito Mollica restaurant will be located in Palazzo Portinari Salviati. An iconic building in the history of Florence and Italy, the birthplace of Beatrice, the muse who inspired Dante Alighieri, and later the residence of Cosimo I de' Medici, whose statue triumphs in the middle of the courtyard of the ancient palace behind Piazza Duomo and Brunelleschi's dome. A real living room in the heart of the city open to anyone who wants to live a truly immersive and emotional gourmet and fine dining experience.

"It will be an honour and a great emotion for me to return to the city that adopted me so many years ago. I can't wait to present all the details of this new gourmet proposal and to welcome Florentine guests in this fabulous location together with those from all over Italy and the world," says Vito Mollica.
A gourmet restaurant in the Emperor's Court and a Lounge Bar & Bistrot on the ground floor of the Palazzo, with dishes inspired by Tuscan and Italian culinary traditions. The project is the result of a partnership between Mine & Yours Group and LDC Hotels & Resorts, a major hotel group that will manage the period residence and the exclusive Spa within the structure.
