Via delle Seggiole, 12

A restaurant and cocktail bar where Renaissance aesthetics combine perfectly with the contemporary, a dimension suspended between historicity and the avant-garde, where the value of craftsmanship and research into the materials used are indispensable. We are at the Locale, inside the historic Palazzo Concini where the De Medici family lived. In the magical renaissance and medieval ambience you come to drink cocktails ranging from signature to the great classics, from aperitifs to late evenings, accompanied also by good music.

Caffè Paszkowski
Piazza della Repubblica, 6
ph. +39 055 210236

Opened as far back as 1846, under the name Caffè Centrale, Paszkowski took on its current name when in 1903 it was acquired by the Paszkowski & C. Company, one of Tuscany's oldest brewers, which transformed it into a café-concert venue. Since then, it has cheered up Florentine evenings with live music and signature drinks, and has retained its timeless charm. Here tradition does not age and is renewed from cocktail to cocktail and from generation to generation between quality and simplicity.

Piazza Santo Spirito, 3
ph. +39 055 2381460

A place that was born inside a historic hat workshop in Piazza Santo Spirito, where space is given to young aspiring musicians. Halfway between a museum, a bookshop and a cocktail bar, Volume is a must in the Oltrarno, where you can breathe in an atmosphere of yesteryear. Classic and more sophisticated drinks are on the menu, to be sipped at outdoor tables on the square from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Santo Spirito basilica.

The alternatives are diverse and all valid, from music that makes the speakers vibrate to international DJ sets, from special events to unmissable live shows, these are just some of the proposals that await you in the famous evenings in Florence, where to have fun and dance all night long, you will be spoilt for choice. From the era of the first discotheques - of which Florence is one of the true proponents with the timeless Space Electronic, designed by the Florentine avant-garde group of radical architecture Gruppo 999 - today there are a multitude of spaces that lend themselves to remarkable musical immersions, especially when it comes to electronic sound. For those who prefer to dance until the morning, here are some of the most popular clubs.

Via Pratese, 46
ph. +39 393 9204279

It is September 1981 and Florence is in the grip of the fury of new wave, dark, punk. A group of young people decide to create a new, alternative disco, attentive to new styles: thus Tenax is born. Sacred monsters of house and electronic music have played here over the years, sometimes with live insertions, and the atmosphere continues to be the same, year after year: fashionable and dreamlike.

Via dei Sassetti, 5r
ph. +39 055 215160

Another giant of the Florentine nightlife, hidden by the history of the monuments that surround it, is Yab, a stone's throw from Piazza della Repubblica. Synonymous with Monday is the Yab Smoove night. It was founded in 1976 with DJ Ciso at the helm and over the years the night has become a national and international reference point. Celebrities of the calibre of Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, Sean Penn, Madonna, David Bowie, Fiorucci, Renato Zero, Yves Saint Laurent, and many other stars, as well as football and sports aces, have passed through here. A reference point for generations in Italy and abroad, embracing everyone's tastes.
