Located in the village of Querceto near Casole d'Elsa, Castello di Casole enjoys an unparalleled position in the bucolic heart of Tuscany. The property, belonging to the Belmond Group, is one of the oldest resorts in the region, wrapped in an unmistakable Tuscan style.
Its origins date back to 998 A.D. and it was once a village, with a school, church, rectory, and a large farm that produced oil, wine, wheat, and cheese.

In over the years it has hosted crowned heads, movie stars and political personalities and the big parties organized in the estate have become legendary.
Still today at the Castle, among sweet hills and a fairy tale atmosphere, the Tuscan wine tradition is kept alive thanks to the production obtained by the lush vineyards.

Those who stay at the castle always have the feeling of being in contact with uncontaminated nature, and in this refined and reassuring context, every Sunday starting from June 27th, the doors of the castle will be opened to external guests who want to live a special experience of taste and wellness.

SUNDAY LUNCH
At the Tosca Restaurant, which boasts an enchanting terrace with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside, "Sunday Lunch" will be served. Designed to spend a pleasant Sunday with loved ones, Executive Chef Daniele Sera has created a genuine lunch to delight the palates of all his guests.
With an exclusive menu to pay homage to the traditions of the territory, the Chef brings to the table his philosophy, in which tradition and innovation come together to enhance the local flavors and transport diners on a real culinary journey.
The menu includes Tuna of Chianti with zolfino beans,
an ancient Tuscan recipe, Tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, Fracosta of beef with porcini mushrooms and
porcini mushrooms and to conclude Zuppa inglese with Alchermes dell'Officina Santa Maria
Novella. The dishes will be accompanied by red wine of our production
production Sì di Sì. Menu price €70.00 includes wine Sì di Sì, water and coffee. Available every Sunday from June 27th. Reservation required.
After lunch you can also walk along the paths of the property, a unique opportunity to connect fully with the surrounding nature.

DINNERS UNDER THE STARS
For those who prefer to experience the Castle at nightfall, there will be the Dinners under the Stars, thematic appointments aimed at capturing the deeper meanings of the stars and the sky.
Five appointments during the summer in which guests can enjoy a typical atmosphere of conviviality dining in the courtyard of the Castle and feel a transport to the past. At every corner of the courtyard, characteristic carts will be positioned where typical products will be served in Tuscan buffet style, and then continue in the magical amphitheater under the celestial vault for an evening of observation together with the experts of Astronomitaly, the Network of Astronomical Tourism. Castello di Casole has, in fact, also been awarded one of the "most beautiful skies in Italy". The dinners under the stars will be held on the evenings of 25 June, 10 July, 2 and 13 August and 20 September, starting at 8pm, at a price of €110.00 (includes dinner and observation with an expert).
