Great news for the Borro Tuscan Bistro

A new room for the historic Tuscan Bistro in Florence and a new opening in London

Time for change at Il Borro Tuscan Bistro, the restaurant that expresses Il Borro and the most authentic Tuscany.

Il Borro Tuscan Bistro in Florence, a well-established restaurant in the city and an expression of the reality of Il Borro, is renewing its premises, with larger, brighter and even more evocative spaces. In an iconic corner of Florence, overlooking the Lungarno, Il Borro Tuscan Bistro in Florence has expanded its spaces, inaugurating a new dining room with an unmistakable and elegant style, where the contemporary character of the furnishings integrates in the best possible way with the original ancient structure and focuses on the enhancement of natural materials, Tuscan interiors and neutral colors.

The restaurant, already a point of reference for the city of Florence, is the ideal place for lunch and dinner with the authentic flavors of local cuisine, tasting a glass of wine, overlooking the splendid Lungarno, between Ponte Vecchio and the historic Ponte Santa Trinita. The restaurant, run by Chef Andrea Campani, is even more refined, offering a menu that exalts every day fresh seasonal ingredients, raw materials from the territory and from the Orto del Borro. On the menu, recipes based on meat, cheese and fish, supplied by virtuous producers in the area, including cream of potato with rosemary, caramelized onion and soft egg, baked brook trout and marinated vegetables with herbs, red onion omelette with field salad and giardiniera.

Il Borro has recently opened a restaurant in London in the elegant and exclusive Mayfair district, bringing to the UK capital the products and recipes of authentic Italian cuisine, revisited by Executive Chef Andrea Campani and Head Chef Fulvio Opalio.

The restaurant offer reflects the philosophy and values that have always guided Il Borro, Ferruccio Ferragamo's Tuscan company entirely run on organic farming, where quality, craftsmanship, sustainability, respect for the environment and love for the land and its fruits are the basis of every choice.

The new opening brings the number of Il Borro Tuscan Bistro restaurants to five: two in Valdarno (at the Il Borro estate and Viesca Toscana), in Florence, Dubai and London.
